  • I want to see a finger under the water beem!!

  • it doesnt work because now it has water damage.

  • Pretty cool, I was never thinking about that Water is THAT strong :o

  • How much KPA ( or PSI) is that water under

  • hmmmm in the future they gonna make a watergun (A REAL GUN)

  • reminds me of will it blend

  • nice videos

  • Put it in rice

  • welp, that ipod is significantly water damaged

  • It isn't just water.

  • @krasnirex actually yes it just is :P

  • @lattibeaudiere1 - The song is called "Crucial Beats". We purchased it from a service called Royalty Free Music at royaltyfreemusic.

  • @CanWaterCutIt whats the artist or can i get a download , for listening

  • intro to long though...

  • now thats ipod water damage

  • This could've seriously gone bad if you cut the Lithium battery with the water considering Lithium reacts with water and might ignite lol.

  • ouch

  • How come it doesn't cut through the surface underneath?

  • @TommtheDrummer - Eventually the waterjet will cut through the surface underneath. The material that is under the iPod is called waterjet brick and is designed to last under such conditions. Over time the waterjet brick and the metal slats will have to be replaced.

  • @CanWaterCutIt

i want to know, if you guys put the water at the MAX pressure, doesnt the waterjet brick will be cuted?

  • @xXxMartin96xXx - Will the waterjet brick be cut? Yes and no… Waterjet brick is made of durable corrugated polyethylene. The open corrugated design is key as it allows the water’s energy to dissipate quickly. You see when the water steam exits the cut material it fans out, and each corrugated hole on the brick causes more fanning of the steam, weakening its cutting power. Now it’s still powerful enough to damage the waterjet brick but usually not enough to cut through it.

  • @CanWaterCutIt

so....in resume, that brick is maded to slow down the water so is not powerful as in the start?

  • no wonder why they wanna make avatar the last airbender as a perfect movie

  • Can it cut through a pure Diamond

  • kids: dont put your finger under it :)

  • What Name Of Song At 1:00

  • @mysyafiq - The name of the song (where the waterjet is cutting) is called "Kicking". It was purchased from Royalty Free Music.

  • i wonder what will happen if someone put the hand on that thing lol'

  • but.....can the water cutter be blended?

  • Why is that water so brown and dirty?

  • @ninjaspion - The water is mixed with an abrasive called garnet, it has a fine sand-like texture. When the water and abrasive mix the water can turn brown and dirty.

  • @CanWaterCutIt well....that's kind of cheating because sand can cut things for exsample the egyptions (yes i spelled it wrong ) used a sandy slurry for cutting stone

  • Can water cut the blender from Will it blend? That's the question!

  • LoL xD !!!!Watched This on my iPod Touch :P

  • but can it blend??

  • I watched this on my iPod touch

  • I have an injection molded product that I'd like to ACCURATELY cut. Tried water jet and it did a rather poor job.

  • will it cut....... that is the question

  • i think it got water damage

  • Try cutting a fire truck in half.

  • what is the tune used?

  • @arturr5 - The song is called "Crucial Beats". We purchased it from a service called Royalty Free Music at royaltyfreemusic.

  • wtf :D how do you thing im going to try this at home ? with my shower ??

  • what the f***? maybe you guys should just have focused in cutting the ipod rather than making a complete fool of yourselves...

  • this is probably the only techno music i will ever like

  • just soak it and its done...

  • well with speeds like that it can my finger off.

  • can water cut the wathercuter :D

  • water rules!

  • Uum...ya...I got an extended warranty for water damage. Is this covered?

  • It cuts through steel... Because its a tool used in modern days to cut strong stuff without making a mess.. exept for water everywhere..

So yeah it can cut almost everything..

So I guess I wont be excited when I see any of the episodes that has something weaker than steel..

This doesnt mean im a hater or a " Troll "

No, I give it thumbs up every time I watch it..

Im just saying try to make more solid stuff :P

  • @Avarthas - “waterjets do occasionally spray but mess is contained by using ‘splash shields’ on the Flow Waterjet. Other than that, mist is really the extent of the “mess” when it comes to waterjets. Although waterjets have been one of the fastest growing machine tools - the awareness, knowledge and the idea of water cutting virtually anything is still very new. Our goal is to show the fun side of waterjets. If you have any ‘off-the-wall’ ideas for our next “can water cut it”, let us know!”

  • @CanWaterCutIt Okay i have this one..

I know it has been tried before but i dont know if you had tried it yet..

Put a katana sword ( Japanese samurai sword ) and try to cut it.. of you put it on its side ofc it will be cutted.. but try cutting it from the sharp side.. and make the waterjet spray on it.. I guess that would be interisting..

    Have fun :P

  • 96669 views lol

  • water can cut through steal. easily an ipod touch

  • woah!!!!!!!

  • Is it possible to make a larger and more powerful version of this with greater range?

  • @DeoxysDNA Flow offers everything from the standard size machines, created to fix those customers who deal with repetitive standard sheet sizes, as well as custom machines that can be much larger!

  • this is intense...not gonna lie

  • should i be scared of water now?

  • song name?>

  • Can a water jet cut itself if its not emo??

  • Now it's double dead:

    Electronics + Water = DEAD

    Cutting it = DEAD

  • we don't even have a machine like that at home!

  • dude, if i were him, i would freakin kick his a** for cutting my ipod without my permission! but nice video ;)

  • dont try at home? who haves a water cutter at home

  • 45 second intro = too long :(

  • I saw another video..

Water cuts through around 5cm of steel.

    With 77.000 PSI :D

  • You really should have cut an apple out of it...

  • OMG cool :D:D

  • I would like to see a close up of the cut in the ipod as well as a close up on the laptop in the other video. It looked like you cut straight trough the hard drive. Funny. Thanks!

  • Why cut an ipod in the furst place? Pretty darn stupid when considering how much an ipod costs.

  • Price is not important when ridding the world of just one more piece of bad hardware.

  • you think this would hurt?

  • Depends on the distance you are from the actual nozzle.

If you were to stand directly up against the nozzle, it would slice through you like a knife through butter (yes, it would hurt).

However if you were to stand, 2 feet away for example, you would just be misted with water. The water stream dissipates rapidly when it hits open air, it is approximately 36 inches where the stream fully dissipates.

  • Can i buy one of these?

  • Wouldn't be possible to make a even smaller hole? Then the water would come with more pressure and wasting less water.

  • You are absolutely correct. On the Flow Waterjet machine, you can control the size of the hole with various sized orifice disks.

You will use less water and get a smaller kerf but your cutting speed will be reduced as well.

    Great observation!

  • poor ipod

  • This show would be so much more successful if it werent for the unfunny skits. Theres nothing wrong with trying to be funny but you guys arent the funny skit types. Not to mention your "can water cut it" curtain is really annoying and quality and production overall is terrible.

Go look at "will it blend" they have the right idea. You have a great concept but you need to learn how to deliver it.

  • Heres an idea for the next Can water cut it:

    A tree.

Say goodbye to those saws, let the water do the job!

  • Great question! Wood cutting via waterjet is an interesting material to cut. With waterjets, the water will travel through the path of least resistance. With wood there are softer parts where the grains lie. If you take a softer wood material and attempt to cut a clean straight line, it would cause small blow outs in the grains of wood. However, if you take harder wooden material such as teak, this would be suitable to get clean cuts. Looking at outdoor tree cutting, we do offer portable units.

  • @CanWaterCutIt how much does 1 machine cost? the 1 in the video?

  • New call for ipod cutpad

  • De-interlacing. Look into it.

  • If you did that to my iPod Touch I wold shove you under that pressure water cutter and see how you like it

  • wooooow!!!!

  • what if it was on and we saw the screen on and then we will see how it dies!

  • I could of used that

  • WATS THE NAME OF THIS SONG!

  • cool

  • What's the name of the song at the beginning???

  • ipodカワイソス

  • nice, whats the song?

  • Hell yeah! That's how to treat an iPhone! <3
