Love the Simonon/ Sting story. The great thing about the punk scene was that pp were just picking up instruments with, little experience, to express themselves. -I love a lot of that stuff. Yeah The Police got in under that label, but to deny the chops is just silly. How can you deny the great Stewart Copeland, Summers beautiful texture and Sting's meaty bass and lovely voice? They could play. So? Never cared how the got put on. Good is good!
