Depends where you live, in the US they call it the mytouch 3g. in Canada they call it G2/Magic.

you poor guys.. its the "Google" one.. if it says google on back you might not get the hero sense UI.. in canada ours says Rogers on the back so its more compatable.. 288 ram instead of the 192 ram google version has etc..

The Phone for offical release is called the My Touch 3g, the name. Although it would be the offcial second Android phone for T-Mobile. The name "G2" will not be used. So the HTC Magic/My Touch 3g will be the name for the next phone.

It doesn't matter if there is no physical keyboard because the on screen keyboard is just as good as the physical. And the on screen keyboard is better than most on screen keyboards. (If you don't believe me use the cupcake update on the G1)
