I'm watching Paul Tonko on C-Span right now and I must say he's a tool. He appears to know nothing of economic historical cycles and is very partisan. He looks like a fool to educated economists but probably appeals greatly to the public left.

Genius, how much was spent per month in Iraq for the 8 years your main man Bush was in office ?

I'll give you a hint; The Iraq War budget wasn't apart of the yearly DoD budget.

Cap and trade is nothing more than a revenue producer cloaked in "environmentalism" cover. Its a tax. This administration needs money for its new entitlements and Mr. Tonko seems more than willing to go along. You seem to be stuck on the previous administration and the Iraq war. I'm speaking about THIS Congress and THIS administration. I'm for fiscal constraint, and Mr. Tonko once said he was too, but his actions don't show that.
