Well, it does a small amount of damage to you and has knock back to opponents around you. so in a 3-4 player match you could use it to get out of people ganging up on you. as opposed to just throwing the bomb down on the ground and risk killing yourself. so 6% damage is a small sacrifice to save yourself! I hope this helps!
