  • Must be an amazing once in a lifetime experience to see but lying on top of the rock like that!? I know people do it, but still, damn you must have some massive nerves of steel!

  • DOUBLE RAINBOW ALL THE WAY

  • I would do this....as soon as I can afford the trip to Africa...I'm SO doing this.

  • @1esme101 Why would they say Devil's pool doesn't exist?? There is TONS of evidence about it online.

  • @1esme101 - your teacher needs to find a new profession.

  • i got to be there before i die

  • i'm scared even watch this...THESE PEOPLE ARE CRAZY !

  • Can European men not wear board shorts insted of those nasty tight little boy ones!

  • OMG!!!!! awesome!!!

  • eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!

  • am i the only one who noticed the DOUBLE RAINBOW OMG!!!!!!

  • Wow :)

  • theres probly a rainbow everyday and hour

  • omg scarey!

  • my god, i wanna visit africa so freaking bad

  • its australia

  • nope. its africa

  • listen k ! it does exist so dont around sayin' shit k

  • wow this is breath taking. i need to go thare before I dye.

  • They are so screwed when they all fall down

  • i dunno who the first dain brammiged individual was....but you wont get me there.

i remember we use to skip school, and go to the falls, on the third sister island there appears a place that you also might be able to swim.........so we use to dare each other to try it, none of us would, so.....LOL whoever was the first to get dared and not.....had to buy the beer...

even drunk, we never tried it....LOL

  • Your teacher is right. The whole thing is just a clever Internet hoax.

  • Believe what you want. I was there. And I imagine it's only accessible at certain times of year due to water level.

  • You really expect people to believe something just because some guy they never heard of before says it's true on the Internet?

  • No. I HOPE that people find out for themselves. Cause it means they're exploring the world. If you don't believe it, or don't want to believe it, go ahead. That doesn't mean you have to shut someone else's curiosity out. Especially students. Let them explore and learn. The beauty of this world is that that kid doesn't have to believe you OR me. S/he can step out of that classroom and see it, breathe it, feel it, and smell it all by themselves. I'm just sharing experiences.

  • Your prose is getting a little purple there, buddy. Don't think that people are going to believe your lies just because you stop talking about a waterfall and start talking about kids seeing it, breathing it, feeling it, and smelling it.

A lie is still a lie, no matter how fancy the language in which you wrap it.

  • Well, I'm sorry that no one showed you the pool when you visited Victoria Falls. Hopefully, the next time you get down there, you'll have the opportunity to experience it for yourself firsthand.

  • I never visited Victoria Falls, because it doesn't exist. It's a very clever Internet hoax.

  • go away you troll

  • WTF?

  • dude if you dont think that the falls and devils pool are real you are the saddest person ive never met......

  • Really?

"A famous feature is a naturally formed pool known as the Devil's Armchair, near the edge of the falls, accessed via Livingstone Island. The river flow is at a safe level, usually during September and December, people can swim as close as possible to the edge of the falls within the pool without continuing over the edge and falling into the gorge; possible due to a natural rock wall just below the water and at the very edge of the falls that stops their progress despite the current."

  • Folks, I wouldn't waste my breath on that guy. Apparently, he just runs around trying to get people fired up. Note the fact that he's never actually been to Victoria Falls. I've blocked him cause he's a waste of space on this thread and I would rather have educating comments (or praise, of course) on my links.

  • Unbelievable. This guy actually created a second id so he could keep pushing his agenda. Don't know why he's working so hard but I blocked him again. Let's see if he gets the hint or goes for Id #3.

  • Don't worry, I won't. It's not worth creating a new account just to fuck with the mind of one guy who's clueless regarding sarcasm.

  • He says as he uses yet another ID. Let's see if he goes for #4

  • Hahaha your dumb. *cough cough*

  • it does exist.

  • What the hell are you talkin about?

  • gay

  • Duuuuuude that is hella awesome! I would totally go!

  • wall or no wall, FUCK NO

  • this could have been a major FAIL! :(

  • fuck that shit man.. i come from there, and i went to see a bunjee jump show thing and the rope snapped and the guy died ! these people want to die! even if there is a wall underneath why would you wanan do that ?!?!? ahhhhhhhhh

  • i want to build a hut right by there and charge admission

  • Comment removed

  • this is the place on earth that i will never ever visit in my life

  • because you are an ignorant?

  • A wall submerged under the water gives you both something to grab onto and creates the pool by stopping the current below the surface.

  • what would happen if you fell off

  • A long drop and a sudden stop.

  • is the current not that strong?

  • Not at that time. At that time of year, the river is not high and not all of the falls are pouring. In fact, I must say that as impressed as I was with what I saw, I can only imagine how massive the full falls must look at the peak of the wet season.

  • i get nervous just watching these people go close to the edge.. :S

  • same here

  • I have always wanted to go there

is a year round thing or a season type thing ?

  • We were there in November. It's definitely a seasonal thing as the water will get too high to even get to the pool at some points.

  • I stood on the edge it was soo scary!

  • seriously though, how did someone first discover that?

  • wow,amazing

  • scary there O_o

  • Lmfao @ shark08034's comment

  • quiero hacer el amor en la devil's pool ;P

  • Just make sure you pay attention in case the tide rises.

  • once in a FULL moon only

  • need devil's pool!

  • lets all go? why the hell not?

  • How dont they fall over the edge?

  • There is a wall that, when the water is low enough, provides some protection. Our guide even walked along the top of it. A little more water, though, and you'll be trying out for the high dive team, not the swim team.

  • O it looks beautiful and amazing.

  • if i'd lay like that, a wasp or something would scare the shit out of me and i'd flip over the edge...

  • this place has Darwin awards written all over it

  • How wonderful that would be! I wonder if anybody should be concerned about diseases since it is a foreign river? Looks really fun and the rainbow---how beautiful.

  • I will go there in agust, I'm from Venezuela but it will be my first time there, my god I can't wait to get there ! that's awsome and angel's fall either :)

  • While there is a wall under the water. A strong or high current could take a bouyant person over the edge. If the water can go over the edge, so can a person.

  • christ what if a heavy wind blew that way and it blew ur kids down?

  • uhhh... anyád!

  • How high is that?

  • Somewhere between 250 and 350 feet. Sorry I can't be more specific but the info websites don't give the height for that specific spot, just how much the height of the Falls varies.

  • 360 foot drop

  • that's cool, but you couldn't pay me a trillion dollars to do that!!!

  • how much would that cost

  • Don't remember. It included a boat ride from the Royal Livingstone, breakfast, tour and a brief swim.

  • I was in vic falls: It is risky: sudden wawes can shovel those people off the falls!

  • Can you see the man disappear at the end of the video and the lady was trying to find him ? :-)

  • I want to go there!

  • I want it too! I love waterfalls and this one should be the best!!!

  • man that is so scary. i cant look at these videos without shaking a little. guess im afraid of heights now XD

  • Thats way scary...you could never pull that off at niagra

  • I wonder how many people have gone over the edge there!

  • including me? Soon to become 1...I mean what a way to go

  • in my opinion that is just damn retarded

  • Wow!! That'd give you something to talk about.

As for me... no thanx! I value my life too much... I'll find something else to talk about! lmao

  • A primeira pessoa que entrou ai foi tão retardada quanto a primeira pessoa que entrou na pedra que engole em Trindade.

  • holllllyyyyyyy shit.......!!!!!!

  • holy crap

  • My first question was, who was the first person to jump into the pool to check if it was safe? Sure, we do it now because thousands before us have and the guides know how to be safe, but what possessed the first person to try it? I also wonder what people on the other side of the Falls thought of these idiots jumping into the flowing water?

  • I never went in, but I once saw a rainbow there by the light of the moon!

  • I have to do that someday. I'm going to find some mushrooms first. :)

  • let's go together dude!!

would be an awesome trip :)

  • IMPRESIONANTE!

  • LUFFIFILMS WAS HERE!
