how old do you have to be to go in the glider?

There's no set age to go in a glider as it is a non-powered aircraft, a bit like a bike on the road. Instructors recommend 14yrs. Just fyi powered planes are 15 and 9 months

Hey guys, im interested in joining the australian air force cadets, i live in sydney, and plan to join the 322 sqn, in ryde cause its the closest to me.

Is it fun, and if so, what do you do? Is it just like school, where you just go there, and learn stuff? Or is it like everytime you go there, you do activities and stuff, do they shout at you and stuff like in the real army drill instructors, thanks so much for your help guys!

hey mate.

I actually happen to go to 322 sqn at timor barracks. im currently a leading cadet and i would be happy to help you out if you need info. btw wat is your last name? I'll give you the details if you want for the next recruiting course. and cadets is kinda like school except its FUN. you only do drill for about half an hour every week and the commanders are only like 15, 16, etc. dont worry man. it aint hectic.

there are some RAAF instructors at AAFC, staff are all older than 20, BUT instructors can be from advanced or qualified stage where most are like 15 or 16

some of it is bathurst and some is richmond but the tug is the old one, we have a new one now, and it is kept at my squadron
