smart choice haveing yours on short poles all mine have the origional poles and bases like my SP Semaphore is all origiional as took down off the SP when retired the pole alone must be 20 feet or better ,my Rock Island trilight is on the origional pole as well so is my N&W PL signal it has at least a 15 foot pole alone before the double US&S cabinent it would sit on but NS ruined it so I will set the cabinent next ro the pole and run the wire up I have a Southern Semaphore only on a 5 foot pole

man this is a great video awsome footage so far I havent got that far I am slowlly restoreing mine I have a few working so far mainlly my old CUT Dwarf signal which I have in the house right now
