after effects is a much more powerful tool. vegas is simply an editor with some extra features. i use both though.

Once you have installed the font on your computer you should be able to use it. Otherwise I don't know what the problem is. I can use any text I want in AE.

I followed a tutorial. It's created by Dean Velez and called Web of Deceit. I followed it, but did some things my own way. I made all the elements you see from scratch. Just google 'Dean Velez Web of Deceit', and you'll find it.
