and trust me, i've played ALOT of scary games, but this game in particular isn't the one that makes me jump when something pops out. no, its the atmosphere and how the ghosts approaches u, giving u that creepy asian horror movie feeling

@atomichead777 I'm with you on that. One of the most unnerving things about the game is the unpredictability of the enemies. Except during boss encounters and key events, you never know when or where the ghosts are going to attack. It kept you on the edge of your seat.

One of the scariest games I've ever played. To be quite honest, I think this is a hell of a lot scarier than most horror movies as of late. This scene was awesome. The way the ghosts face is so close to Mio's and staring at her with her cold dead eyes creeped me out beyond words. Thanks for sharing this.

you know, there is one thing i've noticed just now - most ghosts in fatal frame 1/2 have blank eyes (or no eyes at all).

That is NOT a cutscene. It actually is on the game before fighting the first boss. But I agree with you, one of the scariest vids, because it's the first official ghost you find!

well i didnt find the grudge scary more of a suspense/thriller type thing. fatal frame is kinda the same way cuz the japanese find ghost girls with crazy long black hair scary. but thegame's all about atmosphere which works really well.

Scariest moment for me in this game:

The first time you get to the stairwell, you get the falling woman cutscene. Very scary, and you have an intense scene.

What I wasn't expecting is that I went through that area again, figuring I was safe...then comes the blood curdling scream and she falls down the stairs in REAL TIME. Totally would have peed my pants if I had to go.
