@6mirom Koska Finnairin asiakkaista suurin osa on ulkomaalaisia, ja suomalaisilla on yleensä ottaen hyvä englannin kielen taito vrt. esimerkiksi espanjalaisiin tai italialaisiin. Kotimaanlennoilla ja lomalennoilla safety demo esitetään suomeksi.

Never ever Fly Finnair. One example, of poor service with this airline ... I was recently on a Finnair flight from Tokyo to Helsinki. Whilst this video was being played the passenger next to me was not in her seat, but her shoes and open luggage was under the seat with items falling out. Other luggage was on the seat. After I alerted the cabin crew to this, thinking she may have been in the loo, ill perhaps? or not actually on board, they were not interested. The story continues but no space.

I wonder how many passengers really take notice of these safety videos as a study was done with passengers recently of whom had just been on flight and did tests to what they took notice from the safety video or what they did not take of also a test was done with a group of passengers whom took notice of the safety video and the pple whom put on the study were shocked of how little notice of ether group took notice of this video one of the main reasons was the accent was too computerised con't

The Md-11 is the best. It should be put back into production.

Three of these recently broke down in VTBS, the spare parts had to be flown in with the aircraft on the next scheduled flight out of Helsinki. Left us 600 passengers waltzing around the check-in counter for a considerable amount of time. MD-11 is a good aircraft with some extremely sensitive electronics, and will scream master alarm and trip off alerts at everything and anything. It is also very old. Hope they replace these soon. They've done their part and share of tough labour for the airline.

Yes it it. Its used to be economy for passenger paying more for their Y tickets. Still it is noisy aircraft.

Kyllä ne lentää Finnairilla, sillä on halvat business liput verrattuna muihin eurooppalaisiin. Etenkin ne jotka keräävät One World lentopisteitä.

It is business and with Finnair MD11 dynasty flat seat its more like European premium economy and seat is not fully flat. F.ex BA and especially Singapore Airlines has far more best business class and seat.

According to an amount of technical failures with Finnair MD-11fleet: I don´t respect it. Airbus is far more better, efficient and safer. You´re right, its fast but I won´t fly with Finnair to New York or Asia until they dump this aircraft.

yeah, well I have to admitt that airbus is better. I just like the power of the MD-11. My favourite aircraft must be the A340.

Yep! I like A340 also and the new A330 which is coming in this month is more powerful with 303-320 kN per engine (2) than A340 with 139-151 kN per engine (4). MD11 with 275kN per engine (3).
