it's amazing how variable she is. Matters of the Heart is just

wonderful and then she followed it with Lady with a Torch,

which she brought to Carnegie Hall of all places. i think

i applauded for 2 songs, the rest was crap. she should steal betty buckley's associates.

This brought a tear to my eye. She did dedicate this song to her son at te\he end :"for my son". As has been pointed out she does seem really choked up especially at the end. I friggin love this woman

I saw "Matters of the Heart" twice and was blown away both times. I particularly loved this song and her renditions of "God Only Knows" and "Easy to be Hard." Oh yeah and I forgot... "Another Auld Lang Syne" ... Ok I just freakin' love Patti. She could sing the ABCs and I'd listen!
