I would love to play this movement on the piano in the dark with just lit candles in the room! =) That would really enhance my interpretation!

I'm sorry, what I meant was that (in a way) you were giving all the credit to M. Perahia when the piece gets real exciting and Beethoven is who composed it NOT Perahia. Beethoven is the one who went DEAF, not M. Perahia. Great pianist by the way. I have one or more cds with Perahia being the piano soloist.

I'm sorry I ruined the experience for you.... But do you really need to look at the video to aid the understanding of the music? I mean, I could just leave the video all black, but that wouldn't be very interesting. I put the pictures just because some people enjoy having pictures with their music. If it's bugging you, look away. I'm not stopping you. I hope the music itself is enough to move you. After all, that was Beethoven's intention..

You ruined the slide show by putting too many stupid pictures of Perahia at the end where the piece gets climaticaly interesting!!
