i liked it, you're technique wasn't perfect but who cares? mine isn't perfect either. somethimes it was a little overwelming, with to much movements but you did a good job :)

I've been doing dance here and there, but finally I'm getting into classes, AND I'm starting up my videos again! I've grown so much since this, and I'll be progressing even more. But not only that, this dance was made on emotion and heart, and you seem to have neither. There are dancers with perfect technique that I DREAM of having, but none of that matters if they are dead inside on stage, it makes it much more unbearable to watch than watching someone with imperfect technique.

I have been focusing so much on my technique lately when i dance, because i am trying to get into a very competitive college for dance. Lovely song. Watch that you don't use to much of one thing so many times, especially when you are improvising. You seemed to do an attitude leap or illusion and then fall to the floor a lot of the time. Make sure you use all styles of dance, not just one technique. Other then that really good =] Just make sure you fully extend your lines!
i dont think Contemporary Dance is your thing, you look like the type of person that has learnt it, not born with it, if you want to be a good Contemporary Dancer your usually born with it/
I was doing some research and came across your video. I've been a ballet dancer myself. My daughter is an acrobat (golden, level 5) and wants to move to contemporary. Your video has certainly given me a clearer picture. Lovely dance, with passion, very fast! One can see that you love what you are doing.

Your lines were cut short a lot of the time, you need to finish movements to make them more clear and strong (yes, people do that in soft, flowing dances too) and point your feet.
That said, i do think its great that you dance from the heart, and if its what you love, never stop.
to be honest, me being a dancer as well, its wasnt that great, Yu dont really have a story, and i dont wanna sound mean, but keep working at it. dancing is movement, emotion and yes math too. Keep going! u have potential :)
I think it's clear that it took you a few minutes to get into it, the gymnastic elements and the pop video moves (ie what you already know) are not really signs of personal expression... but your energy is great! btw, did your right knee hurt a little afterwards..? Check out 3:46. Even when improv'ing, you need technique to keep you safe. Remember that technique is about using your body efficiently, not necessarily about high legs and perfect pirouettes!

I'm note gonna lie, you need to put in lots of work technically and some work on performance quality. BUT, there were some really nice moments that I liked. You definitely are passionate about it and that's what's nice. Keep working and you could definitely rock...

Absolutely beautiful--the raw and organic quality of your improv dance overshadows any technique issues that you'd obviously take care of anyway if you were going to formally choreograph it to perform. Keep on dancing!

I think this is really good. The first contemporary dance i've ever really seen. I find contemporary dance an unusual concept but I love how I can see meaning.

Flexed feet are only to be used to complete Certain movements. In general pointed feet are a must and flexed feet only com einto play at certain times.
I don't see why there are so many comments about her feet. That's not the most important thing; she was dancing from her heart and on top of that, it was all improv. It's like that's the only constructive critisism people can give. The most important thing is to dance from your heart, and she's got that.
Love the setting , love the music,dancing is when you connect with the music and when you able to express yourself and you did an excellent job, it reach my heart .

When someone puts a video of them dancing on youtube, they are leaving it open for people to take it however they want, and criticize them if they see fit.
You don't need to make negative assumptions about someone's life and personality just because you disagree with them. And honestly, you don't know the previous commenter. You have no right to call her a bitch.

I really do love the way you think using long words makes you sound intelligent and validates your point. You are acting like a child, and i have a feeling you're projecting your own insecurity onto others, as you feel the need to tell us we're insecure for disagreeing with you.

You are ASSUMING that I am being mean, you are ASSUMING that you know my motives, and ASSUMING that they are bad- which is no different than the interpretation I had of the bitchy comment.
And yes you are condoning it. If you can't see the condescention in that comment, then it means you accept the mistreatment yourself and condone it (pardon the BIG words)

I'm note gonna lie, you need to put in lots of work technically and some work on performance quality. BUT, there were some really nice moments that I liked. You definitely are passionate about it and that's what's nice. Keep working and you could definitely rock...

Absolutely beautiful--the raw and organic quality of your improv dance overshadows any technique issues that you'd obviously take care of anyway if you were going to formally choreograph it to perform. Keep on dancing!

Okay seriously I totally agree, I dont understand why all these other people are like "OMG THAT IS BEAUTIFUL!" to me it just looks amature and someone just like dancing around for fun. There were no lines, little technique and just too much flailing!

Flexed feet are only to be used to complete Certain movements. In general pointed feet are a must and flexed feet only com einto play at certain times.

I don't see why there are so many comments about her feet. That's not the most important thing; she was dancing from her heart and on top of that, it was all improv. It's like that's the only constructive critisism people can give. The most important thing is to dance from your heart, and she's got that.
