I just watched the full version. If no one noticed, the man turned around & made a comment to the officer behind him (could not make out what he said). It was at that time the officer yoked him up from behind & rushed him outside. By the time you see the man & officer again, the officer is striking him (could not tell where the officer was striking him). My opinion is the cop lost his cool due to whatever the man said & at the very least crossed the professional line with battery.

It looks bad from certain angles just like a knee strike or two to just below the ribs of a suspect laying face down that has his hands tucked under his body and is refusing to comply. You can clearly hear the officer saying, "Stop resisting" and "roll over"...and his duty belt had become unbuckled so. Some type of other physical altercation had occurred before the camera got outside
