One reason why the US Harvest Moon DS sucks, is that, if you save in places where a sprite is moving, such as the mine, then sometimes, it glitches, and you can never reload that file. unfortuneately, you don't find this out until you try and reload the game, and when it glitches, that means your whole effort is erased. you could keep two files, yeah, but sometimes, like what happened to me, THEY BOTH GLITCH.

So now I have to start over. Like hell.

Yes I had FoMT and I agree it was better in so many ways. It was also easier to understand! Of course it still had tons of glitches, but it wasn't to the point where the game was unplayable. I thought it made the game funnier!

Yeah they are now maariagable, but the NA version is also pathced now so you should return it and ask the new one.

lol, i got a USA version which went missing b/f replaced with UK version, lets say i got rid of it and used the money to get a USA version lol. Rising Star made the changed to the original natsume(these guys made harvest moons games b4)Coz the UK is more fussy about games than american!!!!! i still cant see why they made these changes like church to temple??? common!!!!

About the Harvest Moon European version... Truth is... really both versions suck. Both are extremely glitchy and not worth the money. I have the American version and have encountered over 5 glitches in 6 hours, including the corruption of BOTH game files (The game is brand new). All the hard work and I STILL have to save every 2 minutes to ensure that it doesn't happen again! It's frustrating and I really don't think anyone should have to put up with it! .....Sorry, ranting there...

But I've never experienced any problems with HM DS. I would really hate the Corruption error. Years of work for nothing. Aaah!

Why the hell didn't they include that? I really like Harvest Moon but they do this sort of shit everytime. Harvest Moon GBA was also nutorious for it's horrible translation errors and glitches in the game.

Rising Star Games says that they had to remove this and a lot of other options because they have to include French, German, Spanish and Italian.

But I don't have that option when I start the game WTF?!

I imported Harvest Moon Boy & Girl a week ago from the US, so I thought that the US version had nog errors or glitches.

But in the configuration menu you see an option to put your vibration on, so I think they copied everything right from Harvest Moon Back To Nature :)
