In the Japanese version of Squeak Squad, they call Dark Nebula "Dark Zero"; They also mention that Drawcia strikes a deal with Zero in the Japanese version of Canvas Curse. There's connections, it's just that they omitted these connections in the West.

@X0Blade It's plausable. Milky Way Wishes happened between the time Kirby fought Zero and 02. There is also another theory floating around that Zero is in fact Nightmare's Soul form. There still isn't much evidence supporting any relations between Zero and the other villains though.

When I said there architecture was similar, I meant that they must have been built by the same person or group. It makes sense since the Fountains are needed to summon the Clockwork Star.

I was under the impression that the creator of the technology was from Halcandra, but if you look closely there is a similarity between the architecture of the Lor and the Fountain of Dreams. Since almost every planet in the galaxy has a fountain, he could be from almost anywhere. And if he did create the Star Rods, then he couldn't have been a bad guy.

kirby is running away with food from king d-d-d, and then metaknight and waddle d go to this ship. a midget pops ups up and tells them he needs help reparing his ship. after getting the ship parts, they fly to a 4 headed dragon that has a crown. after defeating it, the midget grabs it, and turns into magalor. figure out the rest.

Now get this, Magolor says that the Lor Starcutter and the Master Crown were both ancient Halcandran artifacts. He also says that the same technology was used to construct the Clockwork Star that Marx drew his powers from. So would it be safe to assume that whoever left all this technology lying around is the real enemy of the Kirby series? Tell me what you think.

@O2Eater I'm personally surprised that Magolor cited Marx at all. It's clear that he drew inspiration from him, in both the world-takeover scheme and attack style.

Then again, it's merely a Kirby game. I'm not certain that they will incorporate anything directly related to the technology of the old, judging by the direction the games are going (revamps and revisits). However, I do think that we'll revisit older characters like Gooey someday, perhaps even Zero again.

@funbuneh In one dialog sequence, he implies he knew Marx personally. He may have even had this goal in mind because of Marx's failure. I doubt this whole thing wil just slip by though. HAL might be foreshadowing an upcoming game by dropping hints in other main games or something. But of course, this won't happen until after they remake the NES Kirby games.

Kirby games are already way too easy, but IMO KEY went too far by making it impossible to die. Think that's where alot of negativity comes from.

No one should be saying its a bad game. Just generally wishing it was its own game rather than have Kirby plastered on it.
