I'm not the person who posted this video, but I'll respond since I'm vegan.
I was taking B12 supplements long before I was vegetarian or vegan, and I still take them. I also drink fortified rice milk and fortified almond milk, which has lots of B12. Some brands of nutritional yeast also contain B12. Last time my blood was tested I didn't have any deficiencies. Lots of people who eat meat and dairy still take B12 supplements. It's reliable. I get at least 100mcg/day.
