I love the fact that manila got the first asian destination for hawaiian. It's the best place to visit, much safer and cleaner than thailand, too many riots going on. Fly to the philippines instead!!!!!

tis' economical for HA to have flights to Manila because many Filipinos who lived in the mainland may use this airline especially to the OFW's who lived in Chicago, New York, Minesotta or anywhere with no Philippine Airlines service. Just a connecting flight...hahah. Besides, many Filipinos reside at Hawaii nowadays....FILIPINO DOMINATION!!!!

I don't see how this is economical for HA...Most of the time filipinos in Philippines who like to travel overseas usually go to Hongkong, Singapore, and Thailand...because its cheaper and they don't feel as alienated....

Haven't you seen Hawaiian Airlines commercial? They are targeting Filipinos on the mainland and the outer islands like Maui, Kauai to ride HAL to Honolulu and then to Manila.

I just got back from the P.I on PAL.. I wish I waited for flights on Hawaiian instead.. but of course I highly suggest people NOT to travel there right now (april)..cuz its heeelllaaa hot! Best of wishes to Hawaiian Airlines! The next time I hit up P.I .. im riding Hawaiian thats for sure.
