why do you put your thumb on the strings? are you doing something with that or does it just feel good to put your thumb there and it doesn't serve a purpose? I see many people put their thumbs over the neck and I try to do that but it is very hard because my hands are small

many blues riffs are similar so probably some of these songs

are similar to blues songs...

if you have any doubts about the ability composition of page go to listen to other albums and his famous riffs or chords...

go to look for rehearsal of the songs from first album

and you will see that the first versions look nothing like the final, let alone

to those responsible for plagiarism

It goes E-D-G-D-A-E. The G is just the triad of the G major chord, so 4th fret G string and 3rd fret for B and High E string. I also think he lets the open D string ring out when playing the D and G chords.
