Absolutely beautiful! I enjoy watching the Turkey Vultures here in Colorado ride the thermals together. They are such gentle, beneficial creatures. We need to protect them.
Absolutely beautiful, It make me rather emotional and so homesick for magnificent Africa ......how I envied your soaring up there with these magnificent birds...so graceful in the sky!!! Thank you for that :) I would give just about anything to have that experience right now...WOW!!!

Wonderful, life changing clip. I wish I was able to fly one day so "awkwardly" (like an adult dances among kids) among birds and over a beautiful place like this. I was absolutely touched by the feeling. I have already seen this movie for many times, and every time I wished I woud have been there. Congratulations to the makers and of course to Kerry fot her work! Keep going!
I'm sorry but I don't get the point , but ,If you are trying to say that it's o.k for you to disturb their habitat bacause you think that they should be having fun with you and if its only because you prefer or want to believe so, then I don't think you have enough reason for you to say that its o.k to do it and should not be doing that , and you won't be able to convince the people around who do not agree with you.

What an annoying people for the birds ...
Imagine,, if you see the 5-10 kids playing and dancing in circle , They look pretty happy and beautiful and having very much fun. But wait, do you think you try to go join and be able to dance as you are one of them ?
@cohenjp Not sure what you are getting at? Kerri's entire mission in life is to save and protect these birds - this is just a short clip of a much bigger film.
O.K, I understand they try to save these birds, and so what? It doesn't mean that you can do anything you want because you are helping them Those activity is totally different from disturbing their own habitat. And think, If people watch these kind of film it might make them want to go doing the same thing and so the nature can be devastated with those stupid assholes. Its a good thing that you save the nature but you have to think twice before you do something.
@AfricanRenaissance also unsure as to how @cohenjp is comparing this extraordinary thing to interupting some kids in the park. What is the name of the film please AR? And where does one find it? all these amazing locally made films dont get shouted about enough locally!
The reason I came to comment here is because I want you to pass onto the cameramen/women, sound, the entire crew that this is one of the most beautiful shorts i have ever seen. absolutely resfreshed this tuesday morning!
@cohenjp well, you can never be 100% sure. maybe they are trying to threaten the ship ... or they are trying to warn us, that Vogons plan to build a hyperspace expres highway accross our solar system and by the way destroy our planet ... but i would prefer simpliest explanation, that they are just having fun.
@cohenjp i am affraid, that i might have removed your comment, i don't know if i can do that ... but i am sorry if i did. anyway i just think that neither extreme is good. people have to learn how to take care of this planet. and if you agree or not it means also to go and maybe "invade" every possible natural habitat and learn how it works. i think, that whole planet will soon face much greater challenges than these vultures learning to fly with paragliders.
@mcavaldi these activities (and videos) are important because it shows how beautiful and meaningful relations with nature can be. if some kid after watching this video will tend to make "green" choices in its later life, it is success.
@cohenjp Your analogy doesn't work. You missed the whole point of the film, conserving and protecting these birds. No one is trying to become a bird for crying out loud! Try opening your mind up to new perspectives.
I have flown with these vultures in India, it is just the most amazing experience ever.

@cohenjp ... and speaking about reason: if you think that by being annoying is the way how to save nature, that it is you, who lack the reason.
