beautiful car.. i myself am just about halfway through my build.. these keyboard warriors havent a clue what skills it takes to complete these vehicles, and to care for them let alone the money invested.. so why wouldnt you take the extra time to make sure you dont put ur car into the barrier at the track or blow up your engine

Don't stand in front of the car? Seriously? That guy is used to being in front of the car. He needs to make sure the motor is running properly. He's not doing it to be stupid..
@mizzpink98z24cavi Well, Tiffany, the very first thing about cars most of us EVER learned was to NOT stand in front of them. Considering that I have been around drag strips, hot rods and race cars since 1970, I have NEVER made adjustments to a running engine by standing IN FRONT of the car. But, I guess my poor little Super Gas, bracket cars and street rods don't count against this beast, which looks like it could suck that dude into the bugcatcher. But, do with your life as you will. Peace:-)
@mizzpink98z24cavi Thanks for the nice comment and you are correct, we DO know what we are doing. What everyone cannot see is that the Lenco is in neutral, the driver has his foot on the brake and the rear tires are blocked both ways.
Your welcome. My dad used to do the same thing when he raced. Some people just don't understand the component's of drag racing. You have to make sure everything is running smoothly & properly. You would hate for something to happen while going down the 1/4 mile when it could have been prevented at warmup. Love your car. I have a '63 Chevy II. Take care & stay safe. =]
i would have to say that this is car is the best looking and sounding car on youtube. I miss my old 67 chevy 2. didnt sound like this though thats for sure

I don't know about 1/4 mile but it did make a couple 60 ft passes at a track in Missouri. I have video somewhere, if I find it I will post it.
