Clearly this is a pivotal event in history that will no doubt go into the books.

Israel is a democratic state. They have been attacked by their neighbors but defeated all 3 aggressors within 6 days. They've faced multiple hostage situations but triumphed. Jerkinp, I have no idea where you got the idea Israel arrests non-jews and sticks them in Gaza. Many Christians and Muslims have gone to Israel and have not been sent to Gaza. The Palestinians elected them into power in 2005 when Hamas claimed victory in "pushing" Israel out of Gaza. Hamas is not a defender as many percieve them. Israel broke the ceasefire agreement? Hamas was digging tunnles for hostages. Egypt even backed Israel in this conflict.
