This is my major problem with the High School Musical franchise. High School Musical teaches the lesson that people are the ones who need to take charge of their own lives, what ever other people think be damned.
But 2 and 3 have that exact same theme. So it makes me question what point there is in watching this. These movies have sequalitis to the extreme.
My opinion is that all 3 High School Musicals were awesome. But my favorite movie was High School Musical 3. Great story, great songs, great everything!!

HSM Trilogy IS awesome! nice movie Review! keep it up... you really are offensive about martha in the movie... She dances good, awesome, etc. but in reality cheerleaders are skinny... but maybe its a time for change.. maybe most cheerleaders are skinny, because it never happened that a chubby women auditioned, but if someone will it is really possible^^
i love the movie and im a fan of HSM and since i love the movies i got a little teary eyed and i loved every single song i memorized every word before it came out and my fav song was the boys are back

The cast and crew really out did themselves and created a great end to the trilogy.

When I saw the movie the first time, I was a little bit disappointed of that endless story about Troy/Gabriella, the writers should have developped the story of other couples like Chad/Monique and Sharpay/Zeke even if none of them end up together in college because that kind of breakup happens more often after graduation. But as you said, when I saw each of the six leads smiling/crying at the camera, I understood that this HSM was a farewell to the franchise for all of us. Close perfect ending.
I seen hsm3 with my boyfriend who, like me, loves hsm. we both thought it was great. my sister and i think there pushing there luck by making a forth. but i will defiently see it.

I only watched the first act of the film. I couldn't take it any longer than that. Even the most basic and self-explanatory storytelling principles are completely discarded. The result is a complete lack of antagonism and drama, and that's no way to make a musical.
1.Zac Efron's only good performance to date is 17 Again.
2.Ashley Tisdale is the hottest cast member on the whole set.

Ashley Tisdale pulled up the entire series, she is definitely the best actress, singer, and dancer of the series. This one was the best movie yet, but it makes you realize that behind that one plot, there isn't much.

I just saw Hsm3 last week for the first time. I was COMPLETELY blown away. I grew up with Hsm. But this one is BY FAR my favorite. The choreography was incredible, and the songs are ALL phenonimal.

About the cheerleading...it's not offensive or anything but I'm Patty Simcox in my school's Grease production and, I'm not really fat, actually I'm just slightly plumb but I AM the 'largest' one out of all the chearleaders and, even knowing that, my drama teacher gave me the role so...I know what you mean...but lately it's not really that strange anymore.

Look at Grease back in the 70s it was marketed towards adults and late teens, and actual high schoolers.
Anyways I would of clapped for each char. too, but yeah too many kids in there. I'll be the only one whom actually figured out the story.
I did one time applaud including the whole audience with the Simpsons was theaters.

I only watched the first act of the film. I couldn't take it any longer than that. Even the most basic and self-explanatory storytelling principles are completely discarded. The result is a complete lack of antagonism and drama, and that's no way to make a musical.

Aright,let me say a few things.
1.Zac Efron's only good performance to date is 17 Again.
2.Ashley Tisdale is the hottest cast member on the whole set.
3.If they make a 4th one,I will without a doubt,kill myself.Just kidding there,but I don't see the need for a fourth one,because,like rinanina101 said,is it gonna be College Musical??

LOVED hsm3!!! though i thought it was weird how at the end in the middle of the song, they jump, the music stops and you think that the movie is over and then it keeps going. i thought that that was strange.

Ashley Tisdale pulled up the entire series, she is definitely the best actress, singer, and dancer of the series. This one was the best movie yet, but it makes you realize that behind that one plot, there isn't much.

High School Musical 3 is terrible. The music is horrid. Their is no plot to speak off. The new characters are awful and the people who played them can't act. They just rehashed the message from the first film. They just did a third movie to make money. The movie is poor it's really poor on every level.

The girls in my class love these movies but i HATE THEM ALL! Maybe its cause im 14, but so are the girls in my class! This a mive for 8-10 yearolds. Sorry, but it is just crap to me and to most of the people i know exept for some stupid childish girls in my class. Why wont they grow up? This movie does not show the reality, it sucks, watch UNDERWORLD! Thats a real mocie :) !

I just saw Hsm3 last week for the first time. I was COMPLETELY blown away. I grew up with Hsm. But this one is BY FAR my favorite. The choreography was incredible, and the songs are ALL phenonimal.

the 4th one is actually supposed to be like a modern day romeo and juliet-like theres a love between the 2 schools (theyve mentioned it in the first one-the West high knights) it actually sounds kind of good-now oviously (or i hope) that rocketman isnt gonna be the troy of the story and that the brittish girl isnt gonna be the new gabvriella i think those are chad and sharpay-well lets hope: )

About the cheerleading...it's not offensive or anything but I'm Patty Simcox in my school's Grease production and, I'm not really fat, actually I'm just slightly plumb but I AM the 'largest' one out of all the chearleaders and, even knowing that, my drama teacher gave me the role so...I know what you mean...but lately it's not really that strange anymore.
