I'm a humongous H/G fan. But the sad thing is that JKR never did justice with Ginny's character. I really like her. I still don't get why was she pushed in the background during the final battle despite being shown that she excelled in magic spells. Oh poor Ginny. Maybe that's why we have so many H/Hr shippers around here.

I have to agree with everyone. The movies are the main reason people give Ginny the whole stupid 'mary-sue' thing because in the movies it could be pointed out that way.

The books were a lot better for the sixth movie for that part, I really disliked that we didn't get to see them kiss in the common room. They were a lot more passionate there, it seemed like a passive thing in the movies...

I agree that the movies did a horrible job. I saw the movies first and was never really that big a fan, but in the books, I was obsessed with Ginny/Harry. These were beautiful pictures you picked out too. I love it how it really told the story of them and weren't just random pictures.

I honestly don't understand what people have against this couple.

Yes, it's upsetting that they were awkward in the movie, but we still have the books people! Ginny was much cooler in the books and their relationship was much more passionate.

They may not look that cool. Harry has really grown. And I feel that Ginny and Harry, in this book, they are total equals. They are worthy of each other. They've both gone through a big emotional journey, and they've really got over a lot of delusions, to use your word, together. So, I enjoyed writing that. I really like Ginny as a character.
