Even worse is that Gonzo was innocent because he put is skates away, and it was Piggy who set up Gonzo to get in trouble.

It was Piggy who Nanny should have scolded instead of Gonzo, but of course Nanny had no way of knowing that Piggy swapped her skate with Gonzo.

Nanny never saw Piggy swap her skate with Gonzo's. All she saw was Gonzo's skate, so naturaly Gonzo got blamed.

Well when I was a kid I always thought Gonzo was buzzard because of the long beak (nose). But in the muppet movie & the great muppet caper they referred him as a whatever. In of course the muppet babies he was known as a weirdo. It was finally revealed in Muppet sIn Space that Gonzo is an alien.
