Poireau, that's not the first time that I hear a version with the reply "on est rien du tout" being sung with a silly muppet voice. I don't know where it comes but they just used this version.
It's quite rare to hear someone sing an Edith Piaf song and not make a fool of him/herself. Excellent. On the other hand, the clown at the piano deserves to be shot.
yes, she was a "hardcore porn" actress for a while. she is also a human being, a musician with an incredible voice and a songwritter with both the geniality and the musical taste to match. and it´s well, common knowledge. why in the world would she not deserve appreciation ?
@nightlymoon she did a few films...maybe even just one...which I haven't seen (yet)...she was barely 18 and brought a wod of cash to her parent's table who looked in awe and demanded some explanation...she played on those antics when journalists asked her embarrassing questions...thing is she wasn't embarrassed in the slightest. This is old hat tho'
@PoireauMan68 oh, i didn´t had that much insight on her history, thank you for the info. my point was to answer on "amsedelm" comment, his/her comment sounded like a "people should look down on her because of it" . well...i have a slight personal problem with people who attempt to raise "judgements and morality flags" upon people´s pasts.
@PoireauMan68 - It is because I AM educated that I know rubbish when I hear it. I do agree, however, that one of us is a fool. Now go away and don't bother me about this silly performance any more.
@IzzyGarland me going away I doubt it...you barely speak one language, have no culture and you have the front to knock her because what? you don't like her hair...You're a bit simple...and obviously you like it like that
@PoireauMan68 HAHAHAHAHA!!! I suppose if you like hearing this woman grind out the crap version of a good song, with the Muppets acompanying her, then yes... I obviously am simple. I really am far too simple to understand *your* taste and *your* culture. How *is* Mars, by the way?

If she is too strange for you, if you can't forget "her past", don't watch her....
Si elle est trop étrange pour vous, si vous ne pouvez pas oublier "son passé", ne la regardez pas.

She is too strange for us. A so unusual personality makes us not feeling the way we would like. The kind of beauty we would all need to know.

I find it bizarre she made it this far after seeing her outrageous pics from years ago. Aren't people aware of her past?

Un solo jazz sur Piaf ? Super, c'est réussi. Et toujours la grande Catherine.
