And yes, I don't believe why either, but I understand that every ones surgeons opperate differently and so therefore I'l be on this sucker for the duration he's given me.
I think that the ones that are being negative about your choice either don't understand WLS and feel it's only for the super morbidly obese (600-700lbs). Or they are big themselves and are just jealous. So far, I've been fairly lucky. I've had most positive feedback/support from my friends and family. There was only one person who really looked down on me for it. She was big herself and said, "Diet and exercise is the trick. I don't need gastric bypass". It's not for everyone, I get that..cont'd
