We need to get over Hugh.I was at this gig and it was superb.Paul was too fruity I prefer Baz as he is more of a mans man.Jet is fricking hardy at 68.
Paul Roberts was a much better singer than Baz. I still think The Stranglers are worth singing these days as JJ sings all of the songs he used to and Jet and Dave are fantastic.
The Stranglers minus Hugh are always going to be severely second rate in comparison to the original line up regardless of whether it's Roberts or Warne on vocals. Can't say I'm a fan of Baz's vocals at all, decent enough guitar player but they miss Hugh badly. The songwriting has noticiably dipped in quality ever since he left.

I've seen the Stranglers a few times (and truly excellent they WERE) but there is NO WAY I'd pay a penny to watch them with this cunt singing!
