I've seen little league fields with longer baselines in left field. BTW,.. The Rays are averaging way over 10,000 now, so get your facts straight. Left field at the trop is a solid 370 all the way across, whereas Fenway is 310 the entire field. As far as the Rays being better than the Red Sox,.. @TDDWEST second- fenways leftfield stretches from 310 down the line to 370 in dead center. right center goes to 420. anything in the trop go deeper than 420? it's 302 down the RF line and goes to 380 in dead right. it would be impossible for the dimensions to be 310 all the way around unless it was just a straight fence (kinda hard to put on a diamond). the sox actually made it to the WS and playoffs throughout those 86 years and had FAN SUPPORT in their losing seasons

You are so right! I live in FL & the seats are STILL mostly empty even now when the big guys come into town. I mean they can only count on the top teams to help them out so much in filling those empty seats. I think that even the big team fans such as NY & Boston are sick to death of the whinning Ray baby fans who attack people as they come & go to the games. Even the workers at the Trop are tired of them. The end result? More people are staying home watching them more on TV. So you lose!
