Jaleel White: the best voice actor Sonic ever had. I wish he was in the newer Sonic games as his voice instead of whoever they keep getting. This was my Sonic, this was the voice I most associate with him. This was also my favorite of the early-90s Sonic cartoons... it didn't take itself so serious like SatAM.

The SatAM toon COMPLETLY rewrites the mythos established in the games, and while "Adventures" doesn't really follow them either, at least it maintains the feel and SPIRIT of the games.

The buzzing sound Sonic makes when he dashes off, i've never forgotten it. I actually had to think about it when i saw the first Matrix movie.

The bullets in slow mo make the same sound but with a lower pitch.

After that a hundred other movies did the same.

Anyways Sonic was my first hero during the Sega vs Nintendo highschool days, hahaha. I thought he was sooo much cooler than Mario.

Actually, the whole negativity aspect of the show in that review was played up for laughs, really- I like the show too, and I could see that. In the audio commentary for the episode, he actually comments that it's not as bad as depicted, and gives a fairer commentary on the series.
