@rzzza1 I think the main reason this show is so good is that they stopped at four seasons. Brendon Small ended it before he got too tired of doing it and before it got too popular. I think that was Home Movies saving grace: it was under the radar and it didn't have to "go there" like Family Guy or South Park: it was a simple, stupid, hilarious show and it appealed to a small appreciative crowd. While I would have loved for it to continue, at least it ended with dignity, imho.

@rzzza1 The show wasn't cancelled. Brendon Small felt like it was the end and he moved on to new things, mainly Metalocalypse. He was ready to move on to something less 'cute'. I remember seeing somewhere that he was happy with the ending to Home Movies and will not be revisiting it. Too bad though... Great show!
