The commentating is BS... if you are a muslim you believe all of the quran is the word of allah and there for you WILL FIGHT until all religion is only for islam and that means KILLING, jihad, slay and be slain... He LIED and should have gone.... I hope they kick him out......
The Imam Mohammad Qatanani is by far the most respected man in my life and in the lives of so many others. His cooperation with the United State's authorites is in the best intrest of that of the U.S., not Isreal. The imam and his entire family, in my opinion reamin in the U.S., if he doesn't and he is forced to be deported he will allways be rememberd becasue we will protest everyday, in front of any court to show our support for the imam.
I wish the best for Qatanani and for all. I don't think Qatanani will get deported; it is not in the best interest of the country. Qatanani has been proven to be an effective tool of integrating the Muslims of his community in the American society, both: politically and economically, a leading figure in promoting the idea of enter-faith dialogue and a caller for "a reformed moderate Islam.
Without a doubt nothing happens unless Allah (swt) wells, and in that I, certainly, believe. My dear Muslim brother! We don't really know what is best for Shiekh Qatanani and only Allah Knows. I pray Allah to decide what is best for the Shiekh in both: this life and the next. Aameen. That said. I won't say inshAllah he wins the case, but I would, rather, say InshAllah that whatever the outcome is, for it to be the best for the Shiekh and the Muslim community at large.
"Now, irrespective of Qatanai's agenda if it is aligned with Islam or not, it is definitely aligned with the American agenda at large and I'm almost certain that Qatanai's work is well acknowledged and appreciated by American politics, and that his case of deportation is no more than a balloon being popped and an attempt to create a publicity for him amongst Muslims -- not only here in NJ -- but even beyond in other states across the country, as well.
It may seem that the Muslims are pro-acting in standing for Qatanani, but I think that they're only interacting in a plan that was designed to establish Qatanani further. In short, I don't think Qatanani will get deported, but rather he will be granted a perminent residence. He will get promoted and raised higher as a reward from America for his effective role in carrying on its agenda. However, Allah alone knows best and He guides the way.
