Watching your gold and using it right in time, essentially gets you more, don't forget to release the yeti, constantly use reinforcements, when it is slow/contained change your rally points and also use rain of fire as much as you can, wow I am so ready to take this stage.,

lol, i was bored, so i tried an awesome idea

FOR EVERYONE: Upgrade full archer tower(the top left, up to ranger's hideout). Keep repeating to the left one of dat and etc.

Do the second row all mage towers

last all archers same upgrades again

Damn... I ALMOST HAD IT!! 3 stars that is.. I followed it half way then decided "I'll take the reins from here" and everything was going good but at the last second , two of those blue pig orc things slipped through.. Apparently they, along with the white wolves must've killed all of my soldiers in the 3 barracks I set up! No amount of farmers (4) could kill em ;(

I lost 8 lives but i managed to beat this level with only 3 barracks at top! Paladins are so damn strong lol

You used only 3 barracks, nothing else? If that is so, I give tou two thumbs up bro! I stagger mine magic, barrack, then archers.  cannon barrack magic magic arrow arrow Whew what a game It is so addicting :)

Good idea I'll try to remember to do that starting on level 10. Basically I develop the left side of the upgrades first.
