yes it has both aim and yahoo instant messenger! They charge you by the text.. if you have unlimited, your good to go!

yes you can set pictures you take as your background, yes you can set pictures to contacts when they call, and yes you can download ring tones! I do that all the time!

This is the worst phone ever!

It's not durable at all, even for it's chunky size.

The keyboard buttons are slick and not easy to type on, the flip part of the phone wears easily, the screen scratches extremely easily and it chips easily as well.

I like the older phones a lot better than this, and thats saying a lot since I'm obsessed with the newer technology.

If you purchase this, you will be disappointed, as was I.

i have one and im moving on to spring. if your intrested in buying my phone ill sell it for 55$ dollars it has over 20 ringtones and downloaded games. ull love it!

yes you can set pics as a background.also,you can send pic to ur contacts.

and you can download ringtones,but it cost money (only cost $2.50) if u get it from virgin mobile.
