  • Wow. That's it?! The Moon is a harsh mistress. The Sun is a mean mother, ain't it. I've had pop bottle rockets that looked better than that. That was no close shave. It just fizzled in some glaring heat to say it mildly. We're going to need a bigger comet to get the effect we would like - real day-time viewing for the masses. Thanks to the SDO crew at GSFC. Great stuff!!!

  • @grattujao This video was uploaded right when we got the first data. At the time we only had that much information. Consider it amazing that it was done and available within minutes of it actually happening 93 million miles away. If you go to the main page you can see the longer version from after the fact.
