lol gg nub my friends guild in SW on m'uru fire mages can't get above 1600 dps nub, don't lie unless you got 1600 fire damage (highly doubtful) you couln't pull 2k dps, i see locks with 1350 spell damage barely getting 2k and i know locks will alwasy out dps mages by tons
WOTlk in 5 mans it is not that hard to do over 2k dps now. Right now my mix of Sunwell gear and high level blues and epics from WOTLK are what I wear currently. As a hunter though I am not sure whether I will go marks or BM as they do comparable dps and at the moment it seems that having more than one of the specs in a raid is not the best since you are trying to to get the most out of the buffs that each spec supplies. Even if some classes can do what others can because of buffs not stacking

Like 50% of Ret Pally gear is pvp, 10% the actual decent item designed for retri's (usually better compared to the next %), and the other 40% is warr gear :P Not too healthy for too much Warrior gear though ofc.
Yes for other classes pvp gear is retarded to raid with (unless the encounter calls for it, but its fine up to t5) but its not too hard to get hit capped with a 2h :P with the gear you've scavenged if you haven't reached the cap, just pop a few 10+ hit rating gems in the gear.

You're an idiot, first of all, every member in your raid should have over 10k health for Warlod Naj'entus, and pretty much the only way it can be achieved, is by equipping PvP gear. Plus, this is the same pally that reached 1947 DPS on Brutallus, so all I have to say is /applaud
quick Question it might be cus its Ab weekend but, in your armory you have alot of pvp gear, you use that in raids as well? vengefull is fine but you can get alot better in the state your guild is in, just a question.
Xot92, what instance are you currently in? BT? MH? paladins have PERFECT single target aggro, just as good as warriors and close to druids. our Prot paladin in our guilds hold threat over me(ret paladin) easier than our warrior does, which is hard to do because im sad to say im an aggro machine. on phase three in RoS we use a paladin tank for the snap threat + sustainability of that snap threat they just have to have the right set of gear.
Xot92, we're the best for threat on demons and AOE tanking :P For a 4 chest ZA run we need to have a pally for it to be smoothe. And our healing is very good for single MT healing..Although Retri is more of a pvp spec it can be very good in pve if the group + your own gear is stacked well..by that I mean Enh shammies ftw :P

What I dont get it is, how did he get 2nd on damage in that fight when I get like 7th or 8th? We have the exact same stats (AP, crit, hit). I agree that there is a tremendous benefit to having a Retribution Paladin in a raid, especially if you have multiple other paladins in the raid. I don't think enough people realize that Crusader Strike renews EVERYONE'S judgments on a target, hence many paladins can judge their imp Seal of Light/Wisdom, and that one Ret paladin can sustain them. ...... that said, I would've slapped the Rogue for not coming in 1st on DPS. :D Hehehe.

Not as ret you dont. You gimp your damage output so much it's kind of pathetic. What you do is have a holy paladin cast JoW on the boss and just auto attack away. Did you notice that she was full mana because of the JoW with the WF procs?

You do nice dps but Blood elf pallys have it so much easier with seal of blood in pve, they would double the dps of a alliance paladin with one seal it really sucks. Im thinking of rolling blod elf my self anyway great video.
ACtually as gear scales up Sob and SOC start to level out, especially with the new Badge libram that grants 200ap on judgement (which is why blizz put it in there)
I play ret too and we are just starting to venture into SSC and TK and i'm doing good dps with an enhancement shaman in the group even though he doesn't place WF totem.

Rotation should be , Crusader Strike , white hit while SOB is up , then judge, if you hit without SOB you lose dmg... and so on

yo Farism, when u run aout of mana u Judge a seal of wisdom and use Seal of wisdom and ask a Shamy to put out WF totem, u gain mana back realy fast, PS im raiding with my pala as tank and DPS works fine,

Not as ret you dont. You gimp your damage output so much it's kind of pathetic. What you do is have a holy paladin cast JoW on the boss and just auto attack away. Did you notice that she was full mana because of the JoW with the WF procs?

first warcraft video I've seen with music I actually enjoy.
I'm leveling a ret pally right now for raiding, wondering about mana consumption, I seem to run out pretty fast, does that get better? (Horde blood elf)

great dps, an inspiration to all ret pallies. but i cant find you on armory, what is your hit rating at? and what do u prefer for gems?

You do nice dps but Blood elf pallys have it so much easier with seal of blood in pve, they would double the dps of a alliance paladin with one seal it really sucks. Im thinking of rolling blod elf my self anyway great video.

ACtually as gear scales up Sob and SOC start to level out, especially with the new Badge libram that grants 200ap on judgement (which is why blizz put it in there)

Hey very nice dps.
I play ret too and we are just starting to venture into SSC and TK and i'm doing good dps with an enhancement shaman in the group even though he doesn't place WF totem.

great video! I only pvp with my pally atm because of playing time issues and some old ret hate but I enjoy being ret no matter what 18 yr old noobs have to stay. good job on the videos. if you want, look up alys on eredar (horde) and on warsong (60 human) on the armory. ret for life :D

hey man no hate here. i play a shadow priest and we used to be jokes pre bc never stepped foot in raids. now look at us? dont worry. give it time. ret palys will be right up there with everyone else!
