hehe, glad to see my custom model being in use. i made this one and also a gundam high-nu model for Jedi knights aaaages ago. I also made 2 other gundam models for unreal tournament 2003

Yes, the skin is jk2, but it works just fine in jk3. The only problem is with the jetpack as you might have noticed in the video.

Gundam Seed ripped totally of the original Mobile Suit Gundam

im gonna admit right off the bat i probably cant make a better video but Gundam Seed ripped of the some bits of the original Gundam storyline and if you want a comparison heres one example Zaft attacks a colony in Seed in the first 2 episodes of Mobile Suit Gundam Char's Mobile Suit Team attacks except in Seed its te LaCresae Team srry dont know how to spell his name anyway good video otherwise

True, but if we compare all gundams (without the new 00) its basically allways about the same thing - colonies vs earth. Allso all gundams are mainly about how to attain peace in difficult times. Well, not to mention that all gundam series are called Gundam series, even if they aren't related in many ways. No wonder we find in newer series some similar elements from the old ones.

The jetpack is there all the time, you just can't to use it unless you use cheats. The jetpack animations are from dark force mod III

and the map is "battle over coruscant"

Only if you manage to swich Kyle's skin with one of the Gundam skinns, otherwise you can't. As far as I remember, you can only play single player in the demo, so you won't even be able to use the jetpack.

there is. allthough it is very complicated.

you have to open the assets with winrar. then you find the jetpack and simply delete it, but it doesn't make the jetpack completley invisible, you can still barely see it. But i think i saw a mod that made it invisible. if it buggs you, check it on the internet, you will surley find something

Yes, that is the only published skin. However I painted it and as a result there are 2 further skins. If you ask me, I've done a good job. One looks very similar to Strike-X105 and the other to Aegis-X303. If you'd like to play them, you will have to write me a message on youtube including your MSN address, so I can send them to you. That is because I MAY NOT publish the skins. I have no such authority over the skin RX-178.

Well force mod 3 is part of what I've done to that server :) But there were allso other mods. Lately I've been experimenting and figured out that the unlimited jetpack mod isn't so bad for that kind of gameplay too :)

There are quite many gundam-like games, for example silver knight, exteel, age of armor, there is even this game called gundam online comming soon, but the problem is that you can't control the mobile suit as freely as you'd like (excluding exteel) but I really like jedi academy because it has this epic gameplay and so i'm trying to make it look like gundam. I assume you tried to use your skins on someones server on the multiplayer. You can use only the hoster of the server has, so if he doesn't have the skins you have, you can't play with them. Thats new, i think if you use the old version you still can have your own skins on any server.

how do you do space battles?

1. download a map like boc

2. type into the console "g_gravity 1" without quotes

3. you can either download a gundam skin (exists for outcast only) or you download some spaceship vehicles (don't need to change the gravity or use a jetpack in that case)

4. get a jetpack (you can do that with cheats activated and the cheat "give all" (unless you have a skin that allready has a jetpack-thats common in forcemodIII)

Though I do not like SEED compaired to the other series, this is pretty good for being in Jedi Academy. Never thought of doing a Gundam-like fight in that particular map. Is the mod Forcemod III? The radar kinda reminds me of it.

Yeah, its the force mod III, without you can't use the jetpack so well. You can fly only up, not down, but with the mod you can fly down while pressing c. and the music is 機動戦士ガンダム

Well... there is the problem. The jetpack is moving and it isn't supposed to move. It moves because the skin of the gundam is for Jedi Knight Outcast and the jetpack + the whole game is Jedi Academy.

I edit my anims for that stance but they dont move the hands when I press A, D, S or W.

Maybe its included in the Forcemod III. you should download that first, i made the movie in the forcemod

and some new advide (planning to make my 2nd movie like that) download the dbz mod and copy the blast file to your forcemodIII folder, then open blast and delete jetpack, then start playforcemodIII and all the explosions will be larger^^ allso the jetpack will be allmoust invisible, so its really good.

Hehe. Its quite hard to fight like that. I just set the gravity to 1 (is just like no gravity) so if you start moving in one direction, you won't stop untill you start moving in an other direction. Thats why the fight wasn't that spectacular as I hoped it to be, but if anyone has suggestions how to make it better, they are welcome!

I strongly recomment it for such type of battles because you have really much space. However to perform such movement and all that, you have to set the gravity to 1 and enable jetpacks. The gundam skin looked kinda corrupted with the jetpack, but thats because the skin is for jedi outcast.
