@dragonflammable ...the normal one, no. Its only removing the screws from the grip and slide it out, thats it. The 16" version requires the opening of the housing which might take 3-5 minutes.

@tentonbrick When you put a forward grip or a buttstock on a pistol it makes it a Short Barreled Rifle(SBR). SBRs are legal to own. Fill out ATF form 1, what for approval, pay the $200 and you can have one. There is nothing to suggest the owner has not down this. Innocent until proven guilty.

Yes, but just the OD once. The one in the video is from IGB Austria, in the US i found 16" barrels at Sarcoinc (dot) com. They should be around 70-90$.

Just get a shoulder stock attachment + vertical fore-grip on a Glock 45 with hi-cap mag extension kit by TDI and then some so with that shit you're good to go.

ok, jjk, best result was around 7cm/50m with a standard taurus and a standard 16" barrel. So yes, its improving accuracy.

My question is if you have a type 1-3 malfunction how are you going to go through the common manuevers to clear the weapon??

for example you will not be able to tap flip and rack the weapon (as far as i can tell from here)

..so if you have a malfunction you can recharge it (with the charging handle) or you can just re-cock the hammer wich is still reachable. What you dont have is a kind of forward assist, thats true.
