I'm surprised. In my city, people will sue over anything, they could be standing a row back from the people that fell and claim back and neck injuries and sue, lol
well, flexypencil. that is a very good point, i am confident that our bleachers will definitely be able to support a fan base like ours! Central just is not used to amazing students like us. who are you flexypencil???
I've seen some negative reactions on other sites... as far as comments. The kids weren't TRYING to break the fence, it was a complete accident. No, that railing wasn't built to support all of them. In their defense though, our fence at Donegal can, has, and will continue to support that much school spirit. I'm proud of our kids AND their amazing support of each other. And of course Donegal would step up if Central asked us to replace the fence.
Donegal is freakin off the chain when it comes to fans!!! maybe isotla should come and experience the excitement and this time we will lay him/her on the ground level and we'll break another fence and all fall directly onto him, preferably putting him into the most pain he has ever experienced!
Ha, its spirit I'm sorry Donegal (my school) is high on that. I'm also sorry you have a negative attiude towards this. Common sense? Why is common sense needed towars this at all? It was all excitment over winning a game. And paying for it? Maybe it shouldn't have been built so cheap in the first place :]
Another shining example of common sense not being used. All those students leaning on that one railing and no one thought that it might bend or break?
What are the chances that the Donegal SD actually pays or helps the cost of repairs? I say none.

I go to the school where this happened and someone unscrewed some of the bolts in the fence so that this would happen. That kid is my hero.

The kids were just happy for their peers and that fence is meant to be there to keep fans back and hold them up.
