Are you from Georgia? How big is Tallapoosa? Driving a big truck all over US I get to go many places but I can't really see a lot since a big rig can not park anywhere like a car.
Worked there a few years ago. The actual "town" is centered around the rail road tracks about 5 miles north of the interstate, but the area where this video was shot is where all new growth is focused. Not really too much much going on but a nice little town where everyone knows eachother and everyone in town is in church on Sunday. Matter of fact the town pretty much closes up after dark -except for the area around I-20.
Sometimes I think of buying a scooter and hang it on the front bumper of the truck so when I stop at places like that, I can leave the rig at the truck stop and go around places. I am very adventureous and enjoy knowing people and places. I actually live in Florida.
And the true locals there will do anything to help you out. Everyone that has a garden would offer you fresh fruit and veggies in the summer time and passing out food and winter clothing in the winter to those in need. Truely a place where people look out for eachother. The actual city limits covers around 10 miles, to include part of I-20. But the I-20 area is actually the southern end of the town.
Wow! You see, so far I've traveled to 40 of the 48 states driving a big truck and believe me, I've seen a lot. But it is that kind of things that I miss in places I go. An 18 wheeler can not get onto small streets of residential areas and some downtown streets.
Hola. Yo tomo videos de mis viajes por todos los Estados, no solo para familiares y amigos, sino para todo aquel que quiera verlos y comentar. Gracias.
