I just wanna to teardown my blade just to cleanup the glass from the inside? Do I really need to be unmounting those little pieces like you're doing from ~1:00 to 1:30, or can I push it right away?

hello...My phone slipped from my hands and my screen broke but ironically the touch works!!!Should i risk to fix it alone?It didn't seem to be difficult!!! :/

Hi all! I've got a bricked ZTE Blade. Is there anyplace in this video (on the circuits) where you can do a "master reset" or something similar? Any way to access the main memory on this device? I'd like to get it up and running again, but it does look grim :/ Thanks for all help though :)

I, like other people, took this apart really carefully for the purposes of removing dust from between the LCD and digitiser. I can't see any damage or disconnected ribbon cables, but now the touch screen no longer functions. How could this have happened? I'd be very grateful if anyone had any advice...

@drspa44 that happened to me... just tighten the screws to the max (without breaking and its working now...)

I'd like to ask you something, if you know. The rear plastic part (not the battery cover, but the chassis itself) has some copper cables covered by a black rubber tape. Are this cables connected to anything? What are they intended for? I haven't seen anything in the video.

I opend up my ZTE Blade slow and carefully but the touch function on the screen won't work anymore, can you give me any ideas as what to look for?

My phone is 3.1mp camera and says 414.81 Mb Total System Memory. I cannot tell if the screen is TFT or OLE but it is plenty bright enough if you choose the brightest of the 3 settings. Screen is multi touch you can pinch web pages with 2 fingers to zoom out.

@RSxxx1300 there is not a 5 mpix model, its only a 256 mb model and 512 mb model. Both have 3 mpix camera

From what I've heard none of the ones being sold now have OLED screens anymore, they're all TFT. Not sure about the ram/camera though, thought they all had 512mb.

Got myself a Blade now, yeah all the new ones are TFT but the screens are still VERY good for the price. They also all have 512mb ram, but apparently some of them have half of it locked (which is still unlockable, no idea why).
