  • its really annoying with all the censors to great cartoons when before they would allow tom and jerry to smoke a big cigar on screen

  • 3:36 Longcat is long...

  • One individual understands cartoon physics at 4:35 and one CLEARLY does not.

  • Hahaha, that was so cute! You gotta love old cartoons, the slapstick is just so silly it's genius.

  • lol what a troll

  • What part did they censor?

  • after swallowing the whistle...the dog preferred to be dead!

  • from 39 to 41 seconds...the muttley laugh!!!!!!

  • This reminds me of ny childhood!!! Love that dog's laugh....he sounds like dr. Hibbert from The Simpsons

  • "If you ever need me, just whistle" The classic help line.

  • The music is one of the best things about this cartoon, in my opinion. Thanks for the upload.

  • I am so glad this is the uncensored one I been looking for it

  • @SinclairDelux, I love this cartoon but I noticed it goes sorta dumb at the end when the whistle starts causing the bad luck instead of the cat/s.

  • @SinclairDelux No, because it's racist, u jerk that knows nothing about TV Guidelines.

  • Classic. It's not a 50's-60's era cartoon til someone gets a piano dropped on them.

  • muhahahahahahahha

  • This reminds me of "Tom and Jerry."

  • 6:40

    WRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRY

  • The Horse at 3:59: "I'm just as surprised as you are!" LOL

  • 2:32 i love how the triumphant music starts up for no reason.

  • i lol'd

  • @SinclairDelux True, true. It's because idiots keep having children that coudn't even raise a hamster let alone a child. They're more worried about when their next government handout will come in the mail, than teaching their children right from wrong. If you can't figure out that it's not a good idea to eat a lit stick of dynamite or smash someone with a frying pan...you're pretty damn dumb. Control what you watch on TV, eat , play with, etc. COMMUNISM! These cartoons are classic!!!

  • Long time since I saw this, total genius.

  • UNCUT! FINALLY! WHY do these guys edit 'toons? It's ridiculous! That's how it was back then! If U don't like it, don't watch! By the way: the hilarious laugh is none other than TEX himself! THAT'S why it's even more of a hoot!

  • @goocharoo58 Really! That is awesome. I had always wondered who did that laugh.

  • They don't make 'em like this anymore. :(

  • You'd think the dog would quit messin' with the cat after having all this crap falling on his head lol

  • It has been many many moons since I had the utter pleasure of watching this cartoon & I have just sat here in front of my screen crying with laughter at this masterpiece - that dog laugh !!!

  • the dog laugh made my day , hahaha

  • i love cats

  • Hiccup tweeeet BAM!

  • Tex Avery provided the laugh for the dog in this cartoon. He was a real nut. I visited his grave in California two years ago. He was the king of cartoons, and the father of Bugs Bunny. The song when Blackie crosses the path is "Comin' Through the Rye."

  • Dammit I didn't want to dislike this video, clicked by accident while moving the mouse. I'm adding two likes.

  • that laugh is 2 funny. Da best. I used 2 laugh at this when I was lil.

  • This cartoon inspired Marv Wolfman to create the Black Cat a nemesis for Spider Woman who was moved over to Spider-Man when the project was scratched.

  • @infestedbigmac Really?!

  • This is one of my all-time fave Tex Avery shorts. I'm Asian-American and always found the ricepacker gags in old cartoons hilarious when I was a kid. One of my favorite ones is from an old Chip and Dale & Donald Duck cartoon called Three for Breakfast, it's awesome.

  • that dogs laugh... gets me every time.. with its mouth curling to one side and all

  • Comment removed

  • Oh no my youtube acc and my rabbits name is Blacki T.T xD is funny :D

  • cute kitties! :D

  • by the way that music at 3:50 is hungarian rhapsody no. 5

  • Listen to that dog! He must be the prototype Muttley

  • @baconlabs

    Excellent point.

    Never thought about that before.

  • 1:20 i wish i could do that around corners x3

  • can any one please tell me what is that music on 3:50?

  • I like the part when the Dog laughs

  • that's BLACK MAGIC!!!! =)

  • lol at 3:46

  • When he shakes the cat and blows that whistle in his face is fricking hilarious....

  • 5:44 is in the video for "Stray Cat Strut"

  • the 9 dislikes must be PETA

  • @pitmascus PETA: Pathetic Enraged Troublesome Assholes

  • 4:13 My Favorite Part LOL

  • That dog deserves to be shot with double-barreled shotgun for how he is treating that little kitten.

  • That dog has the best laugh.

  • @pullahoko And of course that's Tex Avery, the director, doing the laugh.

  • @pullahoko its an old fat guy that used to work with my dad that used to laugh JUST like that, lmao

  • 2:54 LOL!

  • it's cool i laughed till i didn't laugh lol i'll laugh even if that makes scense

  • what is the song that plays when the Cat does the Russian dance??with the hat on??please?thanks>its at the 3:47 mark.

  • @OLATUNJI05

Its called the Russian Hat Dance, lol.

Used to play it in high school band class.

  • @Amatyr cannot find it.I found russian SER and others but they are not the same.Stymie plays it briefly on the harmonica in the little rascals episode mush and milk!!!LOL!!!really want to know the name of it.Thanks.

  • @OLATUNJI05 Actually, it's the Hungarian Dance No. 5

  • @KidEllington ahhh thanks!!will look for it now!!

  • I didnt like it at first because the mean dog was hurting the poor little kitty but I loved the ending :D

  • Why did they edit out that part for?

  • @weirdnwild91 because the buck-toothed pencil-mustached paddy-hat-wearing stereotype might offend real Chinese or Chinese-Americans (not to mention the sensitivities of the social conscious who AREN'T Chinese...)

  • @weirdnwild91 : When the dog is turning out into a chinese when hitting the barbecue. Could be interpreted as racist.

  • the little cat is so really cute !!! <333

  • Who the fuck gave this cartoon a thumbs down?

  • It's not hard to notice how political correctness is stifling creativity nowadays. Everyone's paranoid over offending other people. I say if something on television offends you, you have bigger problems to worry about.

I guess it's all about distorting reality to please the whiners.

  • Suddenly that song on Family guy about the FCC makes so much sense. These people need to stop taking things so seriously on TV and get over themselves

  • Anyone else want to just put a foot in that dog's ass whenever he has that ridiculously stupid laugh. God damn that's annoying!!

  • @moonshock I agree that laugh makes me wanna pull my hair out it is driving me crazy

  • I like how the cat comes from nowhere at 3:22

  • @clank4001 ha ha,yea, but he does it in the Whole Cartoon!!!

  • The little guy reminds me of my brother's dog trying to go from zero to 60 on a polished hardwood floor.

In the immortal words of Darrell Waltrip: "Boogity boogity boogity!"

  • That evil little snicker at the end--perfect comedic timing!

  • ♥ ♥

  • What A Dick Head Dog!

  • The whistle isn't supposed to be what makes the bad stuff happen, the ending makes no sense. Now my weekend is ruined.

  • @mikaris01 On the contrary, it makes PERFECT sense. When "Shorty" takes the plunge into the black paint and picks up where "Blackie" left off when he underwent HIS little color change, I think some of the "bad luck" effect got transfered to the whistle... and the dog SWALLOWED the whistle. Does that clarify things for you?

  • @NCTaikoDrumboy

I understand it from the way they did it, that makes sense. But they're basing it off the superstition. The superstition is that black cats are bad luck, it has nothing to do with a whistle. The little white one just used the whistle to summon the black cat. Blowing whistles doesn't cause bad luck but that's how they ended it.

  • Normally I'd get really ticked off at unnecessary editing in classic cartoons because it's often done poorly and takes a noticeable chunk out of the storyline. But that gag was so small that it didn't really bother me that they took it out. Either way this is still a great cartoon and one of my favorites.

  • @CartoonAddict2 Just between you and me, when the dog took that unexpected detour into the outdoor oven, he ended up looking more like the old Terrytoon character Tom Terrific than a typecast Chinese... and Tom wore an OIL FUNNEL for a hat, kind of like the Tin Man in "The Wizard of Oz."

  • Tex Avery is the man! He was just great!

  • this shit is even funnier to me now than it was back in the day

  • Removing the racist Chinaman gag at 1:44 wasn't going anywhere near far enough. At 1:50, the black cat is smoking. They need to digitally remove his cigar. And they need to change the colors of both cats to something less racially-suggestive, like pastel pink and blue. Finally, they need to cut out all the violence.

All three animals should love each other, and they should stress the importance of cooperation and working together. And they should all be smiling all the time.

  • @racookster Okay Obama

  • @weatherman2007 My last post was sarcasm of course, but you know it's not just Obama (although I'm no fan of any of the sold-out whores in politics on either side of the aisle). Show me a politician who's against increased social control, and I'll show you a politician who can't get free MSM publicity and keeps losing elections.

They all love taking freedoms away, and so do voters. They just disagree on which ones to take away first.

  • @racookster I was being Sarcastic, too.

  • @weatherman2007 That's not Obama, that's Donald Wildmon. Get it right! :P :D

  • I love the artistic style, the expressions, everything is hilarious. You can tell that the creators of these old cartoons observed animals for a long, long time.

  • 3:45 - HAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The bulldog has the best laugh.

  • the gag where the cat plays "Yankee Doodle" on the dog's teeth always gets a laugh from me (lol lol lol lol)

  • "NYUUUH YUUUH YUUUH YUUUH YUUUH"

  • I LOVE THAT LAUGH!

  • I am a black admin clerk in a pediatric center, and Im an avid cartoon collector of such toons with the racial gags all intact, I am in no way offended by it as it was the mindset of the 40s n 50s, nonetheless I show these cartoons to these 5 -17year olds , especially tex averys "half pint pygmy" if u cud c how mesmerized these kids are when george shakes the hut for the pygmies to run out, I mean for the length of the cartoon these kids DONT BLINK with their mouths wide open full of intrigue.

  • Many many many of these don't exist on TV any more because of the racist jokes. As a kid though, I had zero clue what any of it meant. I just thought they were damn funny.

  • THis is a great cartoon. I love the little theme music everytime Blackie crosses the dog's path.

  • that horse probably wonder what is he doing

  • If I had to pick 6 characters with best laugh:

    Barney Rubble

Muttley/Mumbly/Precious Pup (all by Don Messick)

    Fran Drescher ("The Nanny")

    Beavis & Butthead

    Kendra Wilkerson

That evil dog (voiced by Tex Avery)

  • Curiosity killed a cat :)))

  • HOEEHUHUHUHUHUUHU!!!

  • Go look in your WHITE dictionary (WEBSTER) for the meaning of black, then look-up white...

  • That kitten just became the most deadly being in the world.

  • : )

  • @lovebajanman Kill yourself, prick. You're the thing that makes parties awkward. Oh wait, no you're not, because you probably only set foot outside your house on very rare occasions, because everyone around you knows what a dick you are. I suggest suicide.

  • love this cartoon...

    hate all this PC shit...

  • FUCK THE DOG >8)

  • SUBLIMINAL MESSAGES...YOU SEE, WE'RE ALWAYS TAUGHT THAT BLACK IS BAD & WHITE IS GOOD; YOU'RE BLACK STAY BACK, IF YOU'RE BROWN STICK AROUND, IF YOU'RE YELLOW YOU'RE MELLOW AND IF YOU'RE WHITE YOU'RE ALRIGHT...STILL LAUGHING NOW!?!

  • @lovebajanman Yes I am still laughing. Racial and Edgy jokes included in this film that were common place during that time period don't excuse it from being one of the greatest animated shorts of all time.

  • @lovebajanman , Best cartoons ever, at least they did no taught children to act gay like today's children cartoon,

  • @lovebajanman is cause it's a black cat jack ass you're the type of white person that turns everything into a racial thing and makes everyone feel awkward

  • @lovebajanman shut up you politically correct, up tight, peice of shit! I'm sick of this everybody having to walk around on eggshells bullshit so we don't offend a few up tight assholes. you're the type of asshole that gets pissed at white people for a few jokes in a kid cartoon from the 50's and then laughs his ass off while rascist black comedians like paul mooney bash white people today. fuckin hypocrate.

  • @lovebajanman Troll troll is troll. I feel bad for you that you didn't enjoy this cartoon, bro, and that you can't enjoy life.

  • Huh? But the black cat was helping the little white cat?

And I don't see what this has to do with black people when it's an urban legend that black cats are considered bad luck.

Did you like, go to a public school in the Deep South or something? You're dumb

  • @lovebajanman

What are you babbling about the cartoon's message is about bad luck, the black cat superstision existed long before racism in med Europe it has nothing to do with racist subliminals get real for lord sake, enjoy this supreme humor you wont find much things better today.

  • Why the hell does that dog keep laughing like that?

  • @Blizz782 Idk but IMO thats the funniest part of this episode

  • BLACK POWER!

  • I'm glad that damn bulldog got it the end. I even hate his stupid laugh! Black cat crossing your path = bad luck. Tex Avery genius! Jinx from Teen Titans: "Ha! That's nothing. Hey cats, watch this!" Jinx throws a hex shot at the said dog and he falls into a sewer hole. Big black cat: "Hey! you're good. Priceless, simply priceless." Jinx blushes and smiles at the comment. Jinx: "Dog's right, it is a great cartoon for a classic." LOL!

  • why they has the edited the cartoon? O.O no sense

  • Tex Avery is top, but the Simpsons ain't bad either... Quality is quality no matter how old. Thanks for sharings those toons :-)

  • big fat green douche dog

  • The joke on 1:44 was actually used on Cartoon Network back when the network was just starting out. I remember it quite well before I watched this here. The last joke was funny, but it's misinterpreted. The whistle going off implies that that's what's been causing all the bad luck, and not the cat. Also, the hiccup sounds often annoyed me, but not the dog's laugh.

  • oooooh! black and white worked together. Stevie Wonder and Paul McC. would be so proud.

  • Man this Dog is a douche.

  • These cartoons will always be the best.

  • 4:31 ok that laugh is creeping me out!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Tex had the ALL TiME BEST laugh. PERiOD !! ^_^ lmfao......*wipes tears of laughter*

  • That's what Iv'e watched today!!!!!!!!

  • God must be really angry with that dog.

  • @TulusKammer Yeah God must be angry with that dog.

  • sos un groso

  • Cartoon network gave up on old toons. Just too much to edit.. These toons arer adults and now we know why. Fun, if you keepp in mind they are of more than half a century ago.

  • they used to feed us anything when we were young...Black cats arent bad luck.. Still a great tune...

  • That dogs laugh is the best

  • Absolutely terrific!

  • todays cartoons are nothing compare to this....

  • Cartoons now are nothing like they used to be!!

I miss looney toons and the all mighty tex avery!!!

  • Those were real entertaining cartoons! I remember watching some of them on cartoon network, back when cartoon network was watchable & had actually quality, funny cartoons!

  • listen a 2:27 the song of presentation of "the three stooges" , sorry for my english

  • WHOOAAH HOOO HOOO HOO HOOO HOOOH.

  • Re. 1:44 , why was that edited out by Cartoon Network? Oh wait... fu manchu moustache, slant eyes, conical hat -- Chinaman look. Ok, not PC; but I've seen *much* worse non-PC stuff in cartoons of this era, such as blatantly anti-black bigotry. It's a bygone era. Censoring it is to ignore our past, and ignoring the mistakes of the past guarantees they will be repeated. They should be faced-up-to instead. Bad censors! Bad! Down boy!

  • As Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie Judith Tanner on "Full House") would no doubt say (in regards to that dog) -

    "HOW RUDE!!!"

  • ultra violence kartoon !!!

    exc!!!!

    hahahaha

  • I'd heard that the dog's laugh was Tex Avery himself. Can anyone confirm/deny?

  • @SimuLord Indeed, that dog is voiced by Tex Avery, even if he was uncredited.

  • That LAUGH is worth a MILLION!!!!! One of the funniest cartoons EVER !!!!!!!!!! Still cracks me UP !!!!!

  • Is it just me or is a *fire hydrant* falling on a dog ironic? XD

  • The way that dog treated those cats was purely sadistic! I'm glad in the end he got his just desserts.

  • Lol at ship 6:50

  • that dog is one scary mother fucker with a bad ass laugh

  • man the china joke was genius and it's soo true, they are all a bunch of communist dogs!

  • Ah, I always loved that one. I think, it's one of the funniest cartoons ever made.

The dog#s laugh is hysterical and always makes me laugh too. It was voiced by Tex Avery, wasn't it?

  • This was always one of my favorite cartoons

  • ROFL! I CANT STOP LAUGHING!

  • Yeah, remember watching this and other cartoons on old VHS tape whea I was about 5 years old...Thanks, man, now I will download full DVD with this stuff=)

  • The violence in these old cartoons was wonderful.

  • @MrINeedSome : Agree 100%, love the violence or when they put a gun on their head and shoot.

    No censure back then.

  • Great cartoon ! Does anyone know what air is the kitty playing ?

  • Classic is the word greatest cartoon of any era
