  • I also don't know how people here got pornographic pop-ups when they weren't looking for porn. In all the years on the net, it never happened to me, not ONCE.

Either these people have been going to some really shady sites or someone who was on the computer before them got some cookies or viruses off a porn site.

People who get exposed to porn, wanted it or were "curious", >99% of the time. With search engine filters, this is hardly an issue, certainly not one requiring $Billions.

  • @Flare400 Whats the problem ??????? WHY NOT TWO PORTS OR MORE ?? WE DO NOT WANT PORN

    SICK PERVS WILL ALWAYS DISAGREE

  • @ArtByLindaLee

I already said what the problems are. You might as well lay off the CAPS LOCK button and stop screaming like a lunatic, since it is only you who is having a problem paying attention to what is being written by others.

If you want a constantly monitored porn-free network, then build one yourselves for yourselves. The world doesn't owe you exorbitant resources to satisfy your paranoia. Most people are fine with the status quo and can monitor their kids as well as themselves.

  • @Flare400 Why do normal people have to endure others that choose deviant behaviors Its not fair that NORMAL people have to be exposed to pornography

  • @ArtByLindaLee

Normal people do not have to endure pornography, because they can choose for themselves not to watch pornography. They are not restrained and forced to watch it, nor does it magically appear on their screen.

If they choose to browse shady sites and then get offended and want society to protect them from themselves, then they are not "normal" people. They are either zealots or they have problems controlling their own behaviors and don't want to take responsibility .

  • 28 thumbs down are condoning child abuse

  • @ArtByLindaLee I AGREE 100000000000000000000%

  • I totally support this There has to be a safety net for children and adults that do not wish to be exposed to porn Thank you for this informative video

Keep up the great work We must get laws asap for children rights

People please help protect the children Speak up be a voice

  • People who are against porn are NOT against sex or masturbation! Porn is NOT SEX! It's is a completely different entity, which is not natural or harmless, it's just POPULAR as fuck right now, and we all know the mindless masses can't think for themselves. Jezus wake up and smell the HATE SPEECH!

  • @JamesTh0rs0nMolester THATS NOT FUNNY Either way its bad & you know it !

  • PORN MAKES YOU VIOLENT ASK TED BUNDY

  • Wow, I was about to give this a thumbs down immediately, but it makes a lot of sense. It's a really great idea.

  • This is a great idea and should be implemented quickly. This allows us to observe and control everyone by simply port sniffing. Now you know exactly who watches porn, can exploit and extort them for money or political favors. Imagine a future where not only is porn pushed deeper underground but anyone involved in the business will have to live outside legal society as nobody is willing to pay for porn that can be easily traced back to them.

  • @kkirT your a fuck head

  • internt needs to be cleanedup . i dont think pr0n should be available for free everywhere. its like having adult-magazines all over the house and streets

  • For this to work you would need a specific definition of pornography, and there is none.

  • How about anything that is sexually explicit and deemed to be unsuitable for minors? Just my two cents what do you think?

  • The idea is good, but there is a prob: How many cost this kind of new "protocol"? Billions of dollars. Are you ready to pay for that? The technologies change but not the fact. The history repeat itself over and over, again and again. Everything is linked : Power, money, wars, sex. This kind of topic is too vast and without end, since the humanity exist! Do you seriously believe all of this things gonna be "resolved" before you're gonna be old and then left this world?... "We all live in hope" :)

  • You do have a choice, no one is forcing you to look at websites.

  • u r so right

  • Yeah it's true. Self-control is the only fool-proof way to stay out of pornography.

  • Oh, and I think this is a brillient idea! I would definitely want this. lol

  • Guys go for porn when their girlfriend isn't enough, or in most funny cases, because they can't get a girlfriend.

I dunno if they should illegalise it or keep it legal.

Depends whats funnier to look at I guess; guys without PORN or guys without PORN.

    Hmmm. Toughie.

  • I we weren't meant as a species to enjoy screwing our brains out:

    1) Girls wouldn't have vaginas.

    2) Boys wouldn't have penises.

    3) Orgasms wouldn't feel good.

  • I watched porn since I was 12 and it never did me the slightest harm. Im currently a law student

  • Exposure to pornography does not affect your studies but more your sex life and beliefs about what is a woman and what is a man, and most importantly it affects a person's ability to relate to pple in intimacy... Intimacy and it's meaning and importance...

  • F,uck censorship of all kinds. The Internet is, and should remain, an electronic representation of the real world. The real world is uncensored, people!!

(btw, do you like the way I bypassed the Youtube censors?)

    :)))

  • PORNOGRAPHY RULES!!!!!!!!

  • Anti-pornography activists are misinformed authoritarian douchebags.

  • Don't look at porn! Use your imagination...

  • It's over optimistic to think that you can relegate "all" porn on to another channel. You'd have to define what is porn and completely redraw the borders, and then you'd infringe on beliefs and rights of innumerable people.

Worst of all I believe is the possibility for politicians to exploit channels like this and censor political dissidents and alternative news networks.

What's defined as "offensive" easily crossing into the boundaries of politics, thus offering a tool for a police state

  • @Terrakinetic

Agreed this video is so incredibly naive. It would take enormous resources to categorize all the data on the net, requiring thousands of monitors and billions of dollars. Also when it comes to government censorship, the slippery slope fallacy does not apply - there's mission creep in almost every government initiative. Besides, aren't there already parental control programs out there - making this irrelevant anyway?

This Protecting the Children™ argument is just a weak excuse.

  • @Flare400 NO ITS NOT ........... KIDS NEED TO BE PROTECTED AT ALL MEASURES WHY SO MANY KIDS DIE BECAUSE PEOPLE DON'T CARE OR FIND EXCUSES TO AVOID DOING THE RIGHT THING OR THEIR OWN SELFISHNESS

  • @Terrakinetic I DISAGREE This is needed Yes it should be defined I understand your argument that who would defined what is acceptable there are many that would not want this because they have saturated everything around us Bombarded us with advertisement and are found in most places such as personal adds We must put the safety of children priority they are the future and deserve respect .love and safety We need to exclude children from all that content I AM 1000% for this

  • @ArtByLindaLee Are you honestly telling me parents aren't capable of parenting their own children and now they NEED the government to intervene and help? Hell, why don't they just cut off your family's media access altogether? Then there's a 100% chance your children won't be exposed to anything. They'll be completely safe and sheltered until they're 18 and ignorant of the world. Or you can go and help parents EDUCATE children so they'll be fortified and able to defend themselves morally.

  • @Terrakinetic You obviously support pornography I DON'T This is the difference between us from start Let's agree to disagree Be mature to accept other people opinions even when they are conflictual to your own I believe we need to do everything to keep kids safe Why not have separate ports Why should kids be on a channel/port that has adult content ? No more argument please realize we both have different views on this

  • @ArtByLindaLee I see. You're one of those people that automatically brands those who don't agree with them. If you still can't understand why people are afraid of letting the already proven corrupt politicians gain more control over our lives then you're right, there is no point arguing.

On a side note, you're only one person; you can only be 100% for something. Secondly, please use periods for the sake of the readers. I'm sure you can shorten your comments by 5 or 7 characters.

  • @Terrakinetic ARE YOU SERIOUS ? Sorry I dont put any importance on periods or quotations commas or whatever Have you ever read the poem100 years from now ? You should so you could understand what is and what is not important Have a good life now please Stop the replies and complaints

  • interesting idea but i'd definitely like to think about the implications...

  • thats stupid. im sure it would also take the same effect as your average soccer mom. flagging every youtube video because they say fuck.

  • hahahahahahahahaaaahhahahahahaha

  • I'm sick of porn going to people's computers who don't want it. Porn can be available, fine, but you should have to go through two passwords and a registration to get it. It should not be readily available like it is, which is dangerous for children and porn addicts...I have a church softball website and the host was supposed to block porn, yet a porn pop up came up on my site..how embarrassing...I think the person who put that pop up on there should be fined or punished...

  • redtube (dot) com

  • What if we are some parents that want their kids watch porn? We can unlock the "adult port" for them, ok? This is ridiculous. Censors always decide what people can or cannot see. As a father, I don't want to restrain what children may see, so they can become more stable adults. I saw pornography when I was a kid and I haven't any sex problem, I'm with a normal wife and normal kids. Cut the hypocresy.

  • yeah i agree with you completely i hate all this anti porn propaganda shit

  • Brilliant.

  • There are all kinds of stuff that can be labeled adult content that is not porn.

  • I heard this idea a couple of times and still think that it is a good idea, to use different ports for specific parts of the internet. For example: education, communication, news, games, 'adult entertainment' and so on.

  • Still censorship. What constitutes "adult" content? This could get corrupted in so many ways.

  • please someone offer a real slotion

it is not banning it or blocking some fucking websites!!!

offer a real soltion, by that i mean an alternative

  • Thank you, now I feel like wanking!

  • Thats the most idiotic thing to say opposumland and so are you east ridge, your telling me just cause heroin is a part of the society that's suppose to be used too? What a bunch of fucking fags, obviously you are MEN, because you don't see the dis respectfulness and sexism portrayed into porn.

  • haha WOW obviously you are a feminist woman to not see the blatant sexism of your own comment

  • no you just said the most idiotic thing. You cant handle the truth. I have never seen porn on the internet because the only way to see XXX on the internet is to pay for it. IF I want to watch porn ill watch a video on tv. IF you dont know the difference between porn and indency then take it to court.

  • uhm im a girl and i know not all boys look at porn

  • No not all boys admit they look at porn :P

  • I have some guy friends that I know won't look at it. Especially, my Christian friends.

  • Comment removed

  • This is lies by freedom haters who want to ban porn and everything else they dont like. The truth which you will never hear from these nazis is the stuff you see on the internet for free is not porn it is not porn it is not porn. The stuff you see for free on the internet is nudes, and other type of stuff but it is not defined legally as porn. To watch porn on the internet you must use a credit card. The freedom haters are trying to indency in the same catergory as porn.Bothare legalbutdiffer

  • You, sir, have no clue what you're talking about when you seriously argue that you don't get porn for free on the internet. Besides, whoever starts with a nazi-analogy looses ground from the very beginning. This video is also not about banning (are we watching the same here?) but about giving AE a seperate port, so that everyone can choose if he or she wants AE or not.

  • yes you have the freedom to get into and do porn...but that doesnt mean the lifestyle and behavior cannot be harmful..i can choose too flip burgers at a fast food place but that doesnt mean its a GOOD job..

  • A good parent would take advantage of this system of having a separate port for porn. They would request that their service provider not allow access to the porn port. This would keep their children away from this sort of material. It is too easy to stumble upon porn with key words that link to other things that link to porn. A few clicks and you are there. It's too easy for those who are curious or tempted but would rather not come across it or whose parents would not want them to find it.

  • HAHA Channel 1: Google(dot)com Channel 2: Googleporn(dot)com

    ----

Dumb we already have a choice, it think they call them, um... oh yea that's right keywords... Why make a new "channel" it's an uneeded extra click which will cause our mouse buttons to wear out faster..

Hmmm, they must own a mouse button clicker making factory...

  • THE INTERNET IS FOR PORN WHY YOU THINK THE NET WAS BORN? PORN! PORN! PORN! WOOOOOOEEEEEEEEEEE

Come on, you don't have to watch porn, it's an option. Like payperview

  • WOOOOOOEEEEEEEEEE HELL YEAH

  • If you don't like the channel turn over.

  • You're a fag dude.. porn is part of our society just as drugs are.. get over and do something better with your life than trying to prevent the innevitable.

  • I like that idea of giving porn their own port.

  • Porn is freaking great yeeeeeaaaahhh it rocks

  • The best cure for protecting children from porn is the shelter of a loving father and mother in the same household, who themselves are sexually satisfied and don't need porn, in such a way this mother and father will give the children confidence their sexual dignity will have an appropriate time and place when they grow up and in a loving monogamous relationship. Sure restricting internet access may help, but sexual curiosity is what makes a species survive.

  • It's worth trying. Years ago you had to go to a porn shop to buy it, to see it. It didn't accidentally fall into your lap. But it comes into our homes if we want it or not. You can mistype a website name, porn pops up, then as you try to click it closed it reproduces, forcing you to see it. That's like walking down the street and having a guy flash me. We arrest guys like that.

  • bravo!!

  • Who pays for this? Who rates the videos? Islamic Fundamentalists filter information in the Middle East based on morals. As result anti-semitism is the norm. Who regulates the regulators? Why don't you think teenagers would get around this too? Pornography is damaging to young children. Porn sites use viruses, spyware, spam, & pop-up adds with no concern for the damage they cause viewers. They provide a reason for terrorists to attack us. I like the cause, but I question the solution.

  • Do you have a problem with the fact that we can choose not to have playboy or HBO on our cable box? How is this different? I think the pro-porn people are not getting how offensive and hurtful this is, trying to raise a child in this country gets more and more impossible and society makes no effort to help out. I'm no Christian, no fundamentalist. But the fanatic passion that pro-porn people display over protecting this industry is disturbing.

  • Most people are not getting how pervasive and powerful the porn industry is in our culture. To get a really honest and candid look at just how much unfettered control the porn industry has on us ALL, read Getting Off: Pornography and the end of Masculinity by Robert Jensen.

  • thats a good idea.

  • yea, totally. let's all pwn ourselves!

  • so for example: I cant write it. its url. show adult content.... Is is just a simple idea how to block trafic but it cant solve the problem... The problem is that younger ppl know more about how to control computer than the olcer. But this prloblem is disappearing... And some crazy computer freaks can make a filter which bans words like porn anal sex ... in text/html responce. In the easyest way the web browser can be used for this stuf. But firewall solution can be also made.

  • Unenforceable

  • This is one of the worst ideas I've ever heard of.. This would be completely impossible to do globally. Think about it, someone would have to get EVERYONE all around the world running a ht tp-server and providing content that is not deemed community-port-worthy to change their configuration to use some obscure new, different port. All web-browsers, old and new, would need an update to choose wich ports to use.. The biggest problem, however, would be who the hell would rate ALL the websites?

  • (had to break up ht tp, because youtube for some idiotic reason thinks everything starting with those four letters is a link, and really cut down the comment, because for some other idiotic reason comments have to be 500 characters or less..

  • This is exactly what I was going to say. This idea is so detached from reality it's an absolute travesty. It is shameful that companies or users such as these try to trick the average public into thinking something like this is actually possible, instead of just telling them the truth. If you don't want to see porn, don't click on it.

  • To me, porn is not art. It is just there. I am not positive nor negative about it. But it does not have to be art for it to be protected by freedom of speech.

  • Agreed. However, using this same viewpoint, could one who is looking at pornography approach the porno as just something to help them get off? And also, the rapist could view it as an easy way to get sex. The latter being a terrible viewpoint indeed, but I find it important to face such truths instead of pushing them under the rug.

  • @LilGunman Wow you sound like a retarded idiot spouting jibberish, knowing absolutely nothing at all the material from the extensive OBJECTIVE research proving how negative porn is. A brain responds to porn akin to heroine, forcing synthetic ednorphins into the nervous system that require more intense stimuli to recreate the initial "high". When the images aren't enough, over 85% of rapist interviewed move on to women they know ,or don't know (Ted Bundy) who surprise don't act like pron-stars

  • Again, in my opinion, it is your personal choice wether or not to engage in sex, the viewing of pornography or otherwise. If you believe in the emotional values of what would otherwise be considered by me as loveless sex, then by all means, don't do it. But my beef is with the issue that people with these beliefs try to force everyone else to follow their rules...even the guys like me who just don't have the same belief set.

  • @LilGunman Proposing that: you be a pervert and have your own channel, while we over here who don't want our children exposed to the filth have our own channel isn't forcing anything on anyone brain surgeon. Just offering an effective means to discriminate what someone would want to watch. Like two different TV channels. It's not a hate crime that you have to turn to ESPN if you want to watch the top 10 plays then turn to the Animal Planet to see a special on penguins.

  • Well, I see how you could see this as a problem, Bryon. But, in my opinion anyways, you're just reading too much into it. Frankly, I think that sex is sex. Not some emotional, bonding, magical thing that we tell children it is. However, I also believe there is a huge difference between sex and lovemaking.

  • @LilGunman Amazing you contradict yourself all over the place. But again you show your stupidity every-time you get next to a keyboard, should really take those away from you. The right kind of "love making", wait till your married; has it's share of OBJECTIVE benefits. Polices the spread of STD's (ramped in the adult industry, 70+ percent with just herpes not to mention others according to the AIM CEO), no ill-legitimate children, celibacy and longevity of marriages, no baby mama drama ect

  • And I suppose its also you who is the, and I quote, "pollitically corrected zombie." I suppose it was miswording on my part, but hey, you spelled politically with an extra 'L' so I suppose we're even. Hey, did I mention how you're still dodging the ultimate question of: What is the problem with porn? Not YOUR problem. THE problem. What is it?

  • Well, you did take the time to randomly insult me, so I guess I'll reply to you one last time. First of all, I'M not offended. I'm not a 'pollitically' corrected zombie. In fact, I hate censorship. When I said you were being racist, I meant that you think all muslims are extremist, building bombing, crusade-starters, when they are clearly not. Furthermore, you still refuse to answer the question: What is the problem with porn? Not YOUR problem. THE problem.

  • I'm not talking about the porn STARS, I'm talking about porn. But sure, lets explore this a little bit more. Did you know that 1 in 3 women are sexually harassed? That doesn't mean that 1 in 3 women are porn stars, jackass! You're obviously trying to add 1 plus 1 and getting Sagittory rape as your answer. Judging by your racism towards muslims and this shocking statement, it is clear to me that you are ignorant and I refuse to converse with you further.

  • No it's not. And by dictionary, you must mean encyclopedia...and you don't cook books unless you live in the dark ages...which is seeming to be likely right about now.

Most of the people who wrote the constitution were aethiests, ditheists, and theorists. They didn't believe in a lot of the basic christian values, thus they probobly would agree with me, yes.

  • The topic is porn, yes. However, the issue is the religious right trying to force people, who may not be religious, to obey their laws. In case you hadn't noticed, the FCC is a religious right organization.

On top of that, I did NOT say that ANYTHING started with the crusades. I'm saying they could've been avoided if people didn't get worked up about their religions. And no, I don't think Al Quaeda started the crusades.

  • And why do you think they cared? If you guessed, "Because Jesus and pals decided that it was bad," then you, good sir have just won A MILLION DOLLARS!! If religious conflicts like this stopped before they started, then the crusades never would have happened. Ok? I think its time for everyone to sit down and log off of youtube if its such a problem for you.

  • I am all for this but what will stop this from stopping at porn? This violates net neatrality. Whos to say politically incorrect speech wont be on the next portal?

  • Retards! What you call innocence, I call ignorance. You fools are religiously biased to think that pornography and masturbation are bad, and we do not need to make any "seperate port" because INTERNET PORNOGRAPHY IS NOT A PROBLEM, NOR IS IT A PROBLEM IF A CHILD FINDS OUT ABOUT SOMETHING A FEW YEARS EARLY.

I think its time for whoever posted this video to grow up and get their ass out of the dark ages (where porn is bad and they think that the bubonic plague was caused by jews.)

  • Your right ... we should all shed the clothes and walk around naked, Love, Peace, FREE YOUR MIND, LOL all we are saying is give PORN a chance. Who you kidding bro?

The data is there, PORN is a problem if nothing else it is a huge time waste for big business. Personally I don't think there is anything diffrent in exposing porn to kids and child porn! Both expose kids at a young age.

  • There is a HUGE difference between actual, legal, 18+ year olds stripping porno than the illegal buisness called child pornography. There is a difference between HAVING sex and VIEWING sex. I'm sure you can agree with me there. Thus, your logic is flawed.

On top of that, it's violating free speech.

So now I ask you: What is the problem with porn? Not YOUR problem. Not something that isn't an actual problem. I mean THE problem. What is it?

  • @sunderbean the counteract as already gone up............call your grandmother and start yelling obscenities, next, sit on the sidewalk and expose yourself, and finally..............IF IT OFFENDS YOU DO NOT WATCH IT..........the best advice I HAVE FOR WHOMEVER IS LEFT YOU SEE!!!!!!!!!!!!! :o( tragic says kadybug...........as was the last falling BECAUSE OF A WOMANS KNOWN FLAWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU SICK FUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • And guess what with this solution you will still be able to see your porn, enjoy it market it ect... However if you market your porn to my kids then I can through you in jail where you would belong :)

  • The problem is, that the business has no way of knowing who is viewing the pornography, and in most cases the sites have a "front door" if you will asking the user to certify that he/she is 18. Now beyond that, there is nothing the businesses can do. The "solution" in this video would be completely impossible to implement in reality, so it's out of the question. A solution could be to give all of you facists who cant handle the real internet their own "censored" version on on a different port.

  • @sunderbean Right on I totally agree Keep up the great work

  • uhm i wasnt always a Christian and before that i thought it was wrong girls looking at men is wrong and men looking at women is wronggg...and i mean porn is wrong

  • @LilGunman You have no regards for the safe and happy upbringing of children Not everyone agrees with porn So you shut up and get a life These people are very good people and they need to be applauded for this video and all the awareness it is causing We need to keep kids safe

  • @LilGunman Excuse me It has nothing to do with religion you Moron It has to do with morality which there is not much left in our society anymore We must protect children from all the pornography This is a must We don't need more child exploitation and child abuse This is a much needed set up separate ports ABSOLUTELY

Enough is enough Anyone that is against this idea to not separate the ports is all for child porn and should burn in hell Children must be protected NO TO PORN AROUND KIDS

  • @LilGunman HEY I agree with this video You just admitted to it being ok for a child to find out about something a few years earlier Ya and lose their innocence because you say so I think NOT !! YOU ARE A Dirty rotten scoundrel PLEASE VACATE THE AREA NO ROOM HERE FOR PERVERTS

  • uehuehehu... the solution is: Dont go to the porn website if you dont want to see porn!

    DAMN! what a stupid discussion.

This is just what corporations are waiting to start controlling all the information, and then internet will not be free and for all as it is today. Porn is just an excuse to start it. If you dont want it, just do go on that website, they wont come to you unless yove clicked somewhere. And you wont die if you see a tit for accident.

  • i was told by a very smart sounding puppet that the internet was for porn.

  • Put on a damn filter you idiot.

  • Here's an idea: raise your own children rather than trying to make the world do it for you!

    PROBLEM SOLVED!

  • Who is able to stop a child from typing sex into a search engine - at school, at a cyber cafe, at a friends house, on a mobile phone?

  • A good parent is...

  • Would't you have to be around your child 24/7 to be a good parent according to you?

  • The internet is not something you or anyone else can control like this, and neither should it ever be.

Take responsibility for what you do online, not what I or anyone else does.

Go and live in a gated community if you don't like the possibility of seeing something you disapprove of, but you can't expect the rest of the world conform to your ideas.

marknoble76 is correct, port 80 is the community port and you have no business telling the community what they can or can't use it for.

  • This is a stupid idea. First of all, it's impossible to force anyone to communicate over a specific port. Pass all of the futile laws you want.

Even if there were consensus, and every porn consumer on the net agreed (which is the level of compliance it'd require) then it would be a great threat to liberty because governments as easily as consumers could simply ban the port.

If you don't like the content on the existing community port 80, set up a filter or don't go online.

  • Great idea! But also the adult industry has to be FORCED to use "XXX" instead of "com" AND other countries that do not comply are blocked from U.S. users.

  • And who is going to have the authority to "block" content from US viewers?

  • Well if I signed up for the CP80 port and someone put bad content on the port I didn't want, I would hope I could sue them or send the Law enforcement after them. You can learn about it at cp80 . org

  • Think of it this way ... if you walked outside naked you would be arrested or have the potential to be arrested. If enough people cared (community standard) they would come pick you up and haul you away. :)
