  • ROFL AT THE MUSIC

  • LOL the music]!!! XDDD

  • where can i find schematics for the board?

  • How to make that?

  • this is maybe a silly question but, can u tell me (or make a tutorial video about it) how to make a Steerable Bristle Bot with a battery AND a solar panel (incase a battery dries out). Thanks anyway! The vid is awasome!!!

  • @Terminator6817 Looks to me like there are two counter-rotating vibrator motors. Bristlebots have some wicked torque steer, you can make them go one way or the other by reversing the motor, so having two motors, I assume you could make them go one way or the other by running one motor or the other (each turning a different direction) or straight by running both motors. Just make some circuitry to control this.

A solar panel wouldn't deliver enough current to run this without being too big.

  • Нормально в общем.

  • i want one of those :(

  • i hate the music i give thumbs up though

  • i hate the music

  • best bristlebot i have seen so far

  • She can steer my bristlebot

  • I wanna steer her bristlebot

  • did you steer it depending on which direction either of the two motors is rotating?

  • Great way to steer a very simple bot. Love it!

  • cool :D

  • will it blend?

  • Awesome little fellow! Best i seen... 1:13 Yeah u have a Dell...cool, just messing >.>

  • what is this song called?

  • @mrkoolkittykat Benny Hills: Yakety Sax.

  • Its very cool, but to go with that music you need several of them chasing, with at least one dressed as a policeman, and one in a bikini for no good reason.

  • Very nice.

Have you posted the schematic for the little critter somewhere??

  • how did you do that? :O

  • how did you make it move like that O.o

doesnt look randomly moving like other bots

  • epic!

  • now it just needs a micro camera!

  • Can i use it to scrub my dishes?

  • @secretazn69

    YES!!

  • that is awesome!!! :D

    p.s- pinnacle FTW

  • Fuck this funcking dumb music

  • i see! all the bristles except the outer rows were removed and two pager motors attached.

  • i would imagine two pager motors for steering am i correct?

  • Hello. Yes. The lady that made this used two motors for steering. The toothbrush was just cut down at the handle and no bristles were removed.

  • lol its awsome but its weighed down sooo much

  • there so cute

  • Yakkity Sacks! weee

  • how do you make it turn

    cool song

    wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

    weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • its pretty cool

  • well i took the controller from my rc car and mounted it onto the bristlbots motor, understand

  • how did u make that

  • Could you make a guide to build one?

  • very nica!

  • cool

  • how do you make one?

  • made out of a mini rc car?

  • awesome job. that was really cool

  • I hate this music

  • Yakkety sax?

    really?

  • how did u do that ples tell

  • how does she control it?

  • have you made any upgrades?

  • This was a high school (senior) project for the student shown in the opening of the clip. She would have to let all of us know if there were any further upgrades beyond what I filmed here.

  • The bot uses the radio controller board from a small, twin engine electric boat with the original motors swapped for pager motors. The motors have a small flywheel on their shaft ends to vibrate the bot while turning. These motors are usually found in pagers and cell phones. All of the excess wiring and such was cut down, shortened or discarded to shed as much weight as possible. Using double-sided tape, the two motors were stuck on the sides of the bot to give it that retro Star Trek look.

  • HOW TO???

  • it must be 2 single direction otherwise she wouldnt need 2 motors. This thing is really cool good work.

  • amazing I wanna make one

  • I made 12 bristle bots that followed one another and got an A for it!

  • link?

  • Im not sure but i can see theres a motor on each side.. so im guessing she made a remote and basically tells it which motor to spin

  • that is sooooooooo cool!!! at school i hav to take a hands on technology class and i already know how to make the bristle bot itself but how do u make it steerable plzz tell me how?

  • motor on both sides

  • How To please.

  • song name?

  • Yakety Sax

  • are they 2 single direction motors, or are they both bi-directional?

  • Teach me!

  • cool put soap on the brush and its your auto robot cleaner lol

  • how did you do that?! thats cool!

  • a smart woman the first ever

  • Very, very nicely done :-)

  • how did you do that !!!!!great job

  • how did you do that

  • ill bristle ur bot any day

  • yattey sax i love thAT SONG

  • Is that a zip zap receiver?

  • This is the neatest bristle bot I have seen yet. Great job. The dual motor design is the way to go.

  • awesome!!! congratulations

  • That's awesome. Go Dorsey!!
