i just finished reading article after article on how well the Peruvian economy is and about the free trade agreement protests. Where the hell did this report come from???

Unless Peru drives the impulse of its economy to the service sector and away from commodities, it will be unstable. To do so, it must revampt its educational sys., telecommunications, and import foreign technology. Historically, Peruvians have proved to be smart and enterprising(think Inca Empire), and I am sure they will pull it off again. They must allow Indian participation and stop allowing poverty work for populist ideologies. They should focus on the food industry due to climate/location.

As well as collaboration with its neighboring countries for natural resources.. Its biggest thorn is CORRUPTION in Lima and bad exploitive deals with the nations who dont have Peru's best interests at heart..
