This is no doubt Don Williams' best ballad he ever recorded. It's just too bad country radio never touched it when it was released as a single. Had this been released 20 years ago, I guarantee it would be a huge #1 hit for him. That's when real country music got played.
My husband and I went to see Mr. Don Williams two different times in Seattle, WA. both times I thought he was great. I found this song after my husband past away from cancer on Jan 16, 2010. I feel this song is how we felt about each other. Mr. Williams has a way of making you feel every word he sings, his easy style is so refreshing he pulls you into the song by making it so real. I believe "My heart to you" will always be the song that keeps my husband alive in my memory for ever. Thank you!

This is a real simple music video yet it says so much. I hate the music videos that have to go over the top. All you need is the singer singing the song. Also would like to say it is a shame Don Williams is so underappreciated for his brilliance. People like Rascal Flatts and Tim McGraw can make the big bucks and get the radio waves and good guys like Don get screwed over by the big boys. Its a crying shame.

Don Williams, the "Gentle Giant", he'll be 71 years old this May. We are slowly seeing our true Country Music Legends leave us for the big stage with our Lord. I just hate not seeing, not hearing great legendary talent like Don Williams on so/called country music stations. i realize that their are great new talent out and up and coming, but these music execs can't see no future past the end of the month. and they have failed miserable our greatest tresures in music, our Living Legends.

I helped get Ronnie Milsap on his bus a few years ago and I mentioned that it would be great to see them both on the same stage. Maybe I had a small part it getting Don out of retirement. Maybe.

Sorry to hear about Don getting sick and having to reschedule his Ashland show. I had tickets but will go back to see him on November 1st. I hope he doesn't miss his hall of fame induction on this Sunday

Don Williams has the most beautiful and soothing voice of all time. I love it. My daughter has loved him since she was little, about 2 or 3. She is 40 now & still loves to listen to his music.
"Country Gentlemen" are a dying breed. Don has always been a model of personal and professional integrity. God bless his ability to live the honest life he sings about. There are many shallow country singers around, but very few "Country Gentlemen" left. Who will replace him when he's gone?
The only 'current' country singer that holds a candle to Mr williams would have to be Alan Jackson. Though I was listening to him 15 years ago, so not so 'curent'. Singers like them don't need to jump up and dance on the stage, give them an Stage, a stool and a guitar and they CAPTIVATE YOU! --Hope Kevin Skinner can break out he has the vocie too.
SLOW slongs just don't sell though, like my wife sais, their "borring".... Damm shame.

Don is coming out of retirement to do one last tour this year. I already have my tickets to see him in Dallas, TX on Oct. 27....3 days after he is inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

I was fortunate to see Don in concert during his last tour. Don Williams and Jim Reeves have the most soothing and amazing voices. Pure, simple, and simply amazing. I find myself returning to the music I listened to while growing up and wondering what has happened to the industry. This is real music.

Like a good violin, some voices do get better with age. Watch those PBS Doo Wop concerts and listen these guys in their 70s and 80s who sound better now than they did back in their day. It would be nice of Don would tour again, but he doesn't anymore.

I think Don Williams, John Denver and Johnny Cash are likely the three greatest singer/songwriters ever. The three of them are in a class of their own. The unique and wonderful thing about Don is that he proves that a big, strong, very manly man can also be very emotional and eloquent. Johnny showed us that anyone, however far they've gone, can find redemption. John showed a reverence for nature that I think we should all take as an example.

I can remember listening to the radio hoping to hear the latest release by Don. And oh what a treat it was when you did hear a brand new song for the first time on the radio. It was an exciting time. Don isn't gone just retired but I miss him terribly. May God richly bless Don and his wife Joy and their two sons. He has brought so much pleasure to me in my lifetime. This summer I am going to get on my big ole two wheeler and ride his way and hopefully get a chance to meet and talk with Don.

He changed me into a country music fan and a lifelong Don Williams fan. I saw Don in concert and dozed off, almost falling asleep at times, not because he's boring but because his music is so soothing and relaxing. One of my all time favorite country music singers in the world, sad that he retired in 2006 but thank goodness he left us so many wonderful songs... God Bless you gentle giant of country music.

Like a good violin, some voices do get better with age. Watch those PBS Doo Wop concerts and listen these guys in their 70s and 80s who sound better now than they did back in their day. It would be nice of Don would tour again, but he doesn't anymore.

Thanks for this video. I have enjoyed Dons music for a long time. I remember the TV show he was on, with no hat. I sang Lord I hope this Day is Good, 20 years ago for my wife. My wife says I sound like him. I hope to pick up the guitar again someday . I know I can never be Don, but like many others just love the music and want to be a part of it. Looking for a look a like hat now. Just want to thank Don for all he has done and say We had a good when he was here in Redding,Ca. Please come back.

I think Don Williams, John Denver and Johnny Cash are likely the three greatest singer/songwriters ever. The three of them are in a class of their own. The unique and wonderful thing about Don is that he proves that a big, strong, very manly man can also be very emotional and eloquent. Johnny showed us that anyone, however far they've gone, can find redemption. John showed a reverence for nature that I think we should all take as an example.

I can remember listening to the radio hoping to hear the latest release by Don. And oh what a treat it was when you did hear a brand new song for the first time on the radio. It was an exciting time. Don isn't gone just retired but I miss him terribly. May God richly bless Don and his wife Joy and their two sons. He has brought so much pleasure to me in my lifetime. This summer I am going to get on my big ole two wheeler and ride his way and hopefully get a chance to meet and talk with Don.

I have been working on compiling all of my Don Williams music tonight and the past several nights. I was a rock and roller until the day I heard "Come Early Morning" by Don. He changed me into a country music fan and a lifelong Don Williams fan. For all of you that are too young to have known him when he was releases singles and putting out new music, you missed something that you can never experience.

I saw Don in concert and dozed off, almost falling asleep at times, not because he's boring but because his music is so soothing and relaxing. One of my all time favorite country music singers in the world, sad that he retired in 2006 but thank goodness he left us so many wonderful songs... God Bless you gentle giant of country music.
