  • love it ,i have a nasty 65. THE BIRD IS THE WORD!! i will post a build video soon.

  • super nice thumbs up

  • I'm building a 64 Futura two door post the same way! with a mustang II front suspension. I opened up the radiator intake on mine also. I only have a 61 390 FE for mine though, with a t -10 should be more than enough. 31 spline nine inch, narrowed to 55" over all. Chrome reverse wheels from Stockton. 3.55 ratio rear end, Richmond power Trax locker. 4 wheel disc brakes. No tubs on mine I'm only running 225/75/15's for the street. Super Zoomie!!! God, I love this JOB!!!!!!

  • Very nice....the 64 falcon sprint was one of the cleanest looking pony cars made..the 64 sprint that we owned had the tac on the dash...what happened to this one????

  • Takes off straight up? I'd love a 64 for the 289 hi-po sitting in my garage.

  • Takes off straight up?

  • How do you raise the body up on a falcon sprint like your's and keep it even on both end's?

    I wana do it about 2, or 2 1/2 inch's off the tire's.

is that cam too much for a street car? or would it be ok?

    what's the duration anyway

  • Love that car. I could pull up a chair and listen to that all day.

  • does anyone know which lowering springs he used in the front?? if any??? i want to drop mine,or make mine look as meaty as this?? i dropped the front by putting 14ich mach 1 rims and in the back i put some basic 14in cragars i found in the scrapyard but they barely fit i gotta lift from the back from two places to make them fit.. so do i gotta add more leaf springs somehow?? it sucks im all self taught im barely learning on how to work on classic cars from books.

  • LOVE this car!

  • man that is beautiful. They just don't make vehicles like they used to. If only I could turn back time to the good old days.

  • Sweet!

  • Love to have one of these for the street. A friend had a new factory 66 Falcon Sprint Big Block 4 speed, and buckets, did that little car Haul Ass!

  • Sounds and looks GREAT!!!! What are the specs on the cam??

  • Better than Viagra!

  • it seems to be a little loud!! it could be a loose muffler bearing. lol

  • Sick falcon bro! I have an opportunity to get my second 64 sprint and toss a 71 428 cj into it... Had the motor lying round, needs to be rebuilt,& that would be perfect fit the sprint, huh? Love your blackie!!

  • Awesome ride! Just what I want, a small bodied Ford with a big block to compliment my new Mustang ;)

  • Nice car, should be real fast. My 67 mustang ran mid 12s with a 302 and automatic with a stock converter. The 351w ported heads helped alot.

  • Beautifully modified Falcon!

    Looks and sounds great!

  • fantastic! what have you done with the front suspension to get the big block to fit?

  • Truly a gorgeous example of Ford power. Thanks for sharing.

  • As you probably know, sir....your car is beyond perfect. What I love is those rich interiors some of the auto makers had in some of their 60's autos. I grew up in the back of a 66 ford ranch wagon and then a 67 Galaxie 4dr. Both 289's. I will say this....they took ALL the plentiful abuse I could give them. God, if my Dad ever knew...he'd roll over in the grave. Who knows...possibly he did kinda have an idea?? hehehe. Joel in Tucson

  • nice me and my dad r working on his 1964 futura were putin a 351 windsor in it but it was an orginal 6 cl,

  • Very nice car. It remembered me some names like Phil Bonner, Jack Chrisman and Dyno Don (Comets).

  • DAMN!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Houston, we have a go!!!!!

  • Stunning !!

  • Sweet Ride

  • This is what Jerkmcgerky is doing with his '64 Futura coupe. No budget for a 427, but I've got a fresh '67 PI 428 waiting. That thing is beautiful. Have fun and don't change a damned thing. How far did you move the axle C/L's?

  • Out there in that thin mountain air, what it needs is to come home to Detroit. Just kidding. Take care of it, man.

  • badder than ANY chevy!

  • @arffh Nice car but there is nicer chevs, doges, plymouths, pontiacs, buicks, get the picture?. No matter how nice or how fast there is always something out there that is nicer and faster.

  • @arffh Don't beleive me?, here's another Ford like the one here that got ducted, go to (All Ford Day 2010 Bandimere 1964 A/FX Falcon) here on the tube and watch the white car.

  • Dont touch a thing -- Its Perrrrrfit

  • theonly thing i'd change there are those drag wheels.. i'd put 17 everywhere...

  • @nbrosens Yeah! and a multi-level Red Baron style wing! and ground effects with a 14 color vinyl body wrap that looks like something a 3rd grade art class did, spiced up with huge Monster Energy drink stickers!! Then he could drift it!!!!! SWEET!!!!! ......or he could maintain his dignity.

  • @jerkmcgerkin just some nice 17's, nothing else, and not shiny ones, like vintage style rims. i think they would look nice.

  • OHHHH YESSSSS....

  • i own a 63 SPINT WITH A 302 5 SPEED YOURS IS MUCH NICER

  • you will get in trouble with this car. so in order to save you from getting speeding or reckless driving tickets just tell me where i can come pick it up. you will keep your driving license much longer. this is for your own good. so call soon, thank you. haha,.. the car is sweet, i hope you are enjoying it!!! Love the hot rod fords.

  • ive seen it in person and it makes me drool. i own a 65 with a 302 4 speed.

  • this is one seriously bad ass falcon!

  • What is funny when MoPar fans says nothing could get close to their HemiDarts/Barracudas, is that there was in fact one thing that could, in 1965 an A/FX Falcon werefitted with an 427 SOHC, they tested the car and in just the first test race(stick, not tuned engine, just fitted and filled up), they got an low 10, and that was a test race to see how fast it went.

THat car could easily race with Hemi Darts/Barracudas!

Hemi is not the King as Chrysler allways claims it to be, the Mammoth(SOHC) is!

  • I seem to remember back in the day, there was an orange long nosed mustang with an INJECTED Cammer which spanked Supercharged Hemis all day long!

If it hadn't been for Ed Pink, and Wally Parks banning the Cammer from competition, Cammers would be the Top Fuel motor now!

  • You might speak of the Gas Ronda mustang, who were equipped with a cammer, scary fast ride, not something you would give to grandma when she wanna go and buy clothes or food.

I think there are a video on YT which features that mustang, orange, cammer equipped and so on.

I think it's cool that there are times when Chrysler Hemis simply get spanked all days by non MoPars, MoPar is so overrated, and this car is one heck of an sleeper!

  • It was Gas Ronda. He and Ohio George handed out the hurt to the MoPar boys back in the day!

I think it's cool there's still a few of us Old School types that still remember those days!

This Falcon is one hell of a sleeper, but the sleeper status only;y lasts until they start it! LOL !That old side oiler sounds fifteen different kinds of vicious!

  • ein sehr guter sound!!!!!!!!fett!!!!!

  • I wanna see any self estemed Hemi owner try to beat this in a 402 m race, and see see his/her smile drops as this owner starts his Falcon, revealing that it's not an ''normal'' 427 he got :)

  • Good God! This makes my '64 look like a tinker toy! Awesome car, guys! I wish my little 260 sounded like that!

  • w0ow

    5outa5!

  • got to be the most beautiful piece of automotive art work I have ever seen, this car is my dream come true. i race with and old barnyard 390 and drool all over this engine, i have always wanted to take a 427 block and insert a 428 crank to it.

  • I love the exhaust cut outs in the bumper :)

  • What is the clutch set up, you say your running a 1 3/8 + 10 spline toploader, any work done to that, like Jerico insides ?? Thanks DaBlueOvalBoys..

  • Another excellent addition!!!

  • nice ride, super cool engine/trans combo.. rare find with the 427..nice to see it in a falcon

  • Nice, nice, nice. What IFS are you running and what special oil pan if any did you need for that FE? Building a 64 Comet and would love to go TCI style IFS and an FE. I've watch this video about ten time now. Love it..

  • Ticks all the boxes in my world...love it!
