Love to all. This Tea Party is the ENEMY OF THE AMERICAN MIDDLE CLASS. You pamper Corporate Elites and SCR*W US WORKERS! You can TALK ALL YOU want about us getting the FALLEN CRUMBS of the RICH. But we all know you are AGAINST THE MIDDLE CLASS. GE and BofA paid no federal taxes in 2010. YOU DONT CARE!!! Mitt Romney said "Corporations Are People" SSSIIIIICCCKKKK. But dont stop--You are making the GOP into a GLOBAL JOKE. Dont Stop!! Keep it up!! (Love to all).
Ta Daaaaaaaah! The tea parties worked! Obama's going to assemble a team to go through the budget line by line and decide which items are worth keeping and which ones can be eliminated!
Oh yeah, I almost forgot. He's been saying that since before he was innaugurated. Damn my memory is short.

That is okay. We will keep his message but throw him out. We must throw out all incumbents, and vote against the major parties, most of all the lying scumbag wolfsheep Republicans!
Maybe it's because I'm racist against my own race but I can't help viewing Obama protestors as nigger haters. Where were these people when Bush spent more money than any president to date and grew the government to the largest size in history?
Suddenly there's a black guy in the White House and so many people are screaming, "Handouts! Welfare! Food Stamps!" when in reality only 10% of the stimulus money is going toward low income workers and the unemployed.
And there are racist groups that support the tea bagging but that doesn't mean they started the tea bagging. I don't know. It's just a gut feeling I have.

I totally agree with this protest. What we need in this country are more police and firefighter layoffs, less public services like trash removal, more schools that can't provide things like books, busses, and qualified teachers, more out of control health care costs, and on and on and on. Keep up the good work and maybe we'll see the day when each and every individual can keep their tax money and will be free to fix their own part of a freeway.
I totally agree. Lets not layoff more firefighters, provide less public services, keep non-representing representatives in office, bail out irresponsible corporations. . . lets take action, demand reform, tax reform, congressional reform, demand responsible spending of our countries money, responsible representation, responsible character and be responsible in the way power and wealth are rendered both here and abroad. Or we can just sit back, turn on the tv and enjoy a nice cup of complacency.
"lets take action, demand reform, tax reform, congressional reform, demand responsible spending of our countries money, responsible representation, responsible character and be responsible in the way power and wealth are rendered both here and abroad."
I thought that's what we did when we elected Obama.
Exactly, that is what we Thought we did. But the irresponsibility continues. Not just at the federal level but also at the state and local levels. Our debt increases and is projected to increase. The plans in place to rectify the problems are estimated to increase our debt substantially. The representation of the people is increasingly being ignored in many facets of government. The straw is about to brake the camels back. Enough is enough. We need reform.
I think you mean the straw is about to break the upper classs' back. Remember (?) the largest category by far in the budget is tax relief. It includes one of the biggest tax cuts for the middle class in history and it puts the tax rate for those making over a quarter of a million dollars back to the rate it was before Bush "took" office in 2000.
So much of this "spending" you guys are talking about comes in the form of "not collecting" taxes which affects our budget in the negative. So we're "spending" money on taxpayers. Nice, huh?
As far as our debt is concerned you could easily wipe that out by taking some of the money back from the wealthiest 2% of our population who have done pretty damn well at the expense of the average consumer over the years.
"...irresponsibility continues. Not just at the federal level but also at the state and local levels."
I live in Cleveland where there have been massive layoffs of our police. We have cameras writing tickets now instead of officers. Our city also had to change our trash pickup from once a week to once every other week. Many states are doing similar things because there is no money coming in due to unemployment. So I don't know where this "irresponsibilty" at the local level idea is coming from.
You are correct times are tough layoffs are happening at an alarming rate. How did it get this way? Who let it happen? Who do you think is to blame? The tea party is about concerned citizens and how their money is being spent. Did you attend a tea party?
The government (or the Federal Reserve or Alan Greenspan) refused to regulate Wall Street and banks took crazy risks with their lending practices. They drove the housing market up artificially and then the bubble burst. We should be concerned about how companies are trying to make a quick buck off of us while no one is looking. The recession we're in had nothing to do with government spending.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and I'm totally ready for the flames but I think this protest had more than a little to do with racism.

It didn't. That is a fact. But why do you errantly think so? I am open to opinion.

14% is for healthcare assistance for our poor, our elderly, our veterans, and the families of our veterans.
36% is for tax relief.
The rest goes DIRECTLY into job creation.
