  • Too bad my airsoft p-mags jam all the time. But seriously thats pretty cool.

  • But can I eat it?

  • MAGPULL DYMAMICS FOR THE WIN!!

  • Nice test... but really doesn't prove anything... Sure you can run it over, but magazines don't need to take this kinda torture anyways.

  • Wooooo magpul!

  • I giggled like a little school girl when you beat up that pmag. The only magazines I'll want to buy for my AR, so far.

  • and the point of this was WHAT i dont have airsoft battles that my mags get ran over by a truck!

  • Isn't the P-MAG's main intentions to be a more durable, but lightweight, solution to the standard issue STANAG magazines?

  • Then look at all of the other tests where they shoot them, break them, crush them and they still continue to work. Plenty of "More Relevant" tests out there.

  • I can see they are tough, and work well. but who the hell is going to run over their mags? seriously. i dont get it. This isnt a proper test. try throwing sand, dirt, mud, the realistic type things that will happen to it, not running it over with a truck....

  • @TapRackBoom Things like that happen. This wasn't a rifle test either. Your AR couldn't take sand or dirt in it even if your mag could.

  • @beardeddragon0 Scars, ACR, and some other weapons use it that dont have a huge problem with it. but this isnt a very realistic. who would forget they put their mag under their truck?

  • @TapRackBoom There's been reports of magazines and rifles falling out of trucks in Iraq and being runover by 2 Ton Humvee's, these people are showing realistic worst case scenario!

  • @IMFDB And they stopped and pulled over for the mag? and i wouldnt trust any rifle, even an AK if it just got ran over by a truck. Im not trolling. Im just saying, if a mag that was issued to me fell out of the vehicle i was in. im sure as hell not going to risk my team mates lives to go pick up something i can get back at base.

  • @TapRackBoom I'm just giving you a scenario, it's not so unrealistic if you think about it. It gives you a classification system of what products are truly mil-spec.

  • @IMFDB USGI mags are mil-spec. They are meant to be cheap, easy to produce and made by the lowest bidder. Magpul exceeds most of that. Most militaries have a fettish for things metal. I dont see myself dropping my mags when mounted in my soon to be Buffalo, its not that i dont see the point in making a mag that strong. its that i dont see the relevance of the test. A standard truck isnt a 6 ton up armored HMMWV. A drop test or slam test would be more accurate i think.( or using a HMMWV)

  • Very excellent magazines,I own 6 of em , and all cycle flawlessly. . Pretty cool video too.

  • Man, I wish Apple make my Iphone this tough. Or any cell phones.

  • Chevy vs. other mags "Like a rock, oh like a rock" vs. Pmag "Like a rock, oh... that didn't break it...."

  • Just invested in 2 Magpul PMAG MagLevel 30 round magazines and Ranger floorplate replacements. :)

  • Wow I want an HK mag like that so bad!

  • But will it blend?

  • well, this video has convinced me, guess i'm getting some p-mags

  • Wonder if some kids gonna try this for his middle school science project some day?

  • dammit you could of gave me them mags instead of running them over!!!!!

  • When you run out of ammo you can just beat them upside the head with the magazine....

  • Comment removed

  • Awesome! What kind of upper is that on the weapon that you do the function test with? I really like the underside of the foregrip.

  • too bad i saw a few guys get all or most of their pmags broken or cracked in Afghanistan.

  • Airsoft id a fuckin sport you retard I cant shoot people with my ar15 so that's why u do Airsoft

  • I think this test answered my question about whether I should buy some of these Magpuls for the AR-15 I'm building up...

  • What kind of rail you running on that Carbine at the end?

  • But the real question is, Will It Blend?

  • Not that i wasnt already... but im sold!

  • Now only one question remains.............can it cook??

hahaha, otherwise it's a fantastic mag!

  • @Lilatl you can use 5.56 mags for 6.8 rounds it's no problem at all. I thought I had to buy new mags for my 6.8 but I was told I didn't and so I've been using the same mags it's fine. You just can't fit as many rounds.

  • I hope MAGPUL can make a PMAG for 6.5 and 6.8 ammunition.

I love pmags but they're only available in 5.56x45mm.

  • why would anyone drive on their magazine

i cant see any situation in a war when you drop your clip under a car o.O

  • but will it blend?

  • @fatflyingninjas But will you shut the fuck up?

  • but will it feed?

  • magpul makes airsoft gun magazines too i love magpul they never let you down

  • My #1 problem with AR mags is when they get squeezed and won't feed the rounds. Happens more than you think. If you can run the mag over with a 1,000 pound weight 4,000lb truck / 4 tires) and it'll still function, That is a great improvement on the design.

  • What does running over a magazine with a truck have to do with anything? I'll never understand "Torture tests". They are way out of proportion to everyday tactical/military use for magazines or guns. Do something practical....It's not a truck is gonna run over my magazine during an emergency. Try sand/dirt tests, drop it on concrete, or stress the spring and try firing it....

  • @darkstararmory comon cars running over mags are always common in war situations

  • I want Drake's job!

  • that's why I have four I need more!!!!

  • I wonder how loaded magasines (dummy rounds preffered) would behave?

Might be worse or better, I really don't know.

  • @SwineNahNah the rounds inside actually bend and become malformed. so swap them out as soon as you can. funny how a plastic mag is more resilient than the rounds its made to carry.

  • @BeneathBurningBridge shoot i think it carries 300 rounds in a mag.

  • lol u hear all those mags cracking, magpul P-mag? heared nothing from that one xD

  • not only was that informative but highly entertaining, just bought 2 20 rd pmags thanks for the inspiration

  • i just ordered two Magpul PMAG w/ MagLevel magazines today!

ALSO!! the airsoft market/culture really irritate me! nearly every time i go parts hunting online (for new, niche, obscure, etc parts), i feel like i'm looking for a needle in a haystack! hmmm...how can i clarify this...oh, i know...Ricers are to Tuners as Airsofts are to Firearms.

  • PMag's are whats up.

  • Dammit, now I'm gonna have to try this.

  • it would of been epic if the magazine broke when he released it from the rifle

  • @Eskmm1 lmao

  • XD that would be funny as hell. but considering what it went through. damn im going to go buy 4 of these tomorrow.

  • Great test, reaffirms my loyalty to your brand. I only use magpul products on my AR15; I have an MOE stock set, MBUS sights, and shoot all of my ammo through pmags. Keep up the good work!

  • how try a tank where its relevant

  • Of course the USGI mag (the one i got for free from the military) Fails every test! lol. just my luck... I hope I don't get into a fire fight with a Chevy pick up.

  • what is the assult rifle used in this video i know it is a m4 but is is military or civilian and what company makes it.

  • @jlidral Actually, it isn't an M4. It's called the ACR (Adaptive Combat Rifle). It was developed by Magpul and now in production by Bushmaster.

  • That is not an ACR, the charging handle is in the wrong place.

  • What the hell are you talking about, lol. That nowhere near an ACR. Its an M4. The charging handle is in the back like on every M4 (not near the front on the side like an ACR) and it has a fixed front sight post instead of full BUIS like the ACR has.

  • @topher81807 it looks like almost like it could have been an early concept for the acr but your probably right

  • No I can assure you its not a prototype or concept of an ACR. The Masada/ACR has always been made from polymer (same shit as the Pmag) where as the M4/M16s recievers have always been made from 7075-T6 or comparable aircraft aluminum. I can also assure you that its not a concept because the rifle in this video has a direct impingement system and the ACR/Masada uses a gas piston system which is easily identified by the adjustable gas regulator at the front of the handguard.

  • Oh, also not to mention the charging handle is in the back of the reciever here which the M4/M16s have always had. The Masada/ACR has always had its charging handle towards the front of the handguard. The M4/M16s are the only rifles that have forward assists like the one seen here. So, in short, the charging handle location and forward assist location tells you this is without a doubt an M4.

  • No way of telling without seeing it, lol. It has so much aftermarket stuff on it that it looks nothing like it did when it came from the factory, lol. All the Magpul guys run the top end stuff though so its safe to say its PROBABLY either a Knights Armament or a Noveske.

  • All those poor magazines. You could have sent them to me, and I would have given them a good home.

  • This is why I LOVE all of magpuls products. They are such a great company.

  • I Know what mag I'm buying now. Good way to advertise, totally sold me.

  • I'm not a gun owner yet (don't think a Gamo Big Cat pellet rifle counts as a real gun) but I think I'm falling in love with the M4. After looking at user reviews of different mags, I think I'll order a few of these and never touch the stock mag when I do get it. XD

Now to find some other reviews on DRT ammo... lol

  • Can i ask what type of upper your using?

  • damn.....I'm usually not a fan of these type of tests(as apposed to real world testing) but....this is...well...VERY definitive...good job Magpul!

  • too bad you guys dont have a tank or a humvee to try this with.

  • i love my desert tan pmag! I need to buy like 20 more LOL!! Great Video guys, looks like you had alot of fun!

  • Comment removed

  • you're stupid

  • Put some rounds in it, that would increase the structural integrity just a bit If those mags and it that's your your battlefield (empty mags laying about a parking lot you need to retrieve and reuse) you have mad some serious tactical errors. NO, no, I get it; polymer and no welds will 100% make your mag stronger.

  • now if only the P Mag could cook...

  • lol fuckin pro! a mag that wont break on just as you eject it on concrete. bout fuckin time. well it was apistol mag i lost. but still! very nice!!

  • obama loves the ding dong

  • Very impressive, I guess my bro was right about those magpuls!!

  • Does anyone know if the pmags will work in Ruger mini 14s?

  • If your ruger Mini accepts regular USGI/AR-15/M-16 magazines, then it should fit flawless. Last time I saw, mini's accept AR-M16 Mags.

  • If you saw a mini with an AR mag then the mag was definitely manipulated in some manner. There is not a huge difference between the two kinds, but it is enough that they are not interchangeable without doing a little work to them. Can't manipulate a polymer like you can aluminum for steel so PMags are out of the question.

  • Only if they make one specifically for the mini. AR-15 mags do not fit in Ruger minis without manipulation and you cant do it with a polymer. This is from personal experience.

  • they make 2 types 30 round ar15/m16 mags and 20 round ar15/m16 and i think probaly they will fit in your ruger

  • Comment removed

  • what the hell are those little black pieces flying out of the gun during the function test?

  • snap caps or empty casings to test functionality.

  • dummy rounds

  • Dummy rounds, I'd assume.

  • Their rounds. Maybe snap caps.

  • i laughed at how your hanging out the window while gunning the truck over the mags.... lmao, great test but i dont see the relivence of "combat efectiveness" as a USMC and Iraq war veteran the USGI mags held up amazing to the many many rounds i put down range during firefights... but i guess you can never improve upon too much.... or can you ?

  • lmao whats funny is that the airsoft PMag is like 25 dollars without shipping. more expensive than the real thing... wow.

  • @Wegro123 an airsoft mag has more parts

  • @Wegro123 The 75-rounder is 10.00 if you know where to get it...

  • @Wegro123 judging by the end when he function tests the magazine no

  • @Wegro123 because Airsoft PMAGs has more parts than firearm PMAGs

  • @Wegro123 Yea, but airsoft is for queers who can't or aren't allowed to own real firearms.

  • @PANT3RA and you sound like an ignorant inbred redneck, tell you what, why dont ya stfu and go back to your swamp mmkay?

  • @0mgwtfbbq21 someone's upset mommy won't let him own a real firearm.

  • @PANT3RA lmao, i could own a real fire arm if i want to, i just choose not to because i dont need one dumbass

  • @0mgwtfbbq21 you must not watch the news then. We know in reality, mommy won't let you have one though.

  • @PANT3RA think what you want then, i dont care, besides i dont live in the US and in my country were not allowed to have real fire arms, and i go to the shooting range every week 2 times you dumb redneck

  • @0mgwtfbbq21 See, you're jealous you live in a nanny-country that doesn't trust its citizens. Must suck to have your rights stripped down, like we do to felons over here! pansy boy. The whole time all you can say is "redneck" or stereo typical insults, when you're just a pansy-boy european fag who isn't allowed to own a real firearm because your government doesn't trust you. LOLOLOLOLOLOL

  • @PANT3RA well, why would i be jealous of people and a country the whole world hates? full of IGNORANT REDNECK liberals like yourself, get a life already and go back to ur swamp. mmmkay?

  • @0mgwtfbbq21 Lol your stereo typing shows your ignorance. The world hates us? Maybe it's because we're not as much of a nanny state as the homo-country you live in hahahahaahaaha

  • @PANT3RA

lol no point in even listening to that kid he talks like the U.S. couldnt step over his country in a heartbeat. england is garbage compared to the us, this isnt the 1700s

  • @PANT3RA

and no airsoft's not that bad, i bought an airsoft gun to plink around with and have fun with friends, not to replace a real firearm lol

  • @Wegro123 because theyre not mass produced like real ones silly

  • @Wegro123 woah where'd you buy that airsoft PMag... It's only 10 bucks for a Pmag and 9 for their Emags

  • I just put an AR-15 mag converter on my Galil. These mags are the only ones that I will be using!!!!

  • I've got a couple of them. They are definitely more durable than USGI mags when dropped repeatedly after quick reloads.

  • too bad 30 round magazines are illegal in new york...

  • fuck the system and buy preban.

  • Doesn't even have to be preban, just make sure they're unmarked. :D

  • its an lwrc m6a2,,,,,if it is not then i dont care,,,i would rather have the piston system of the lwrc.

  • what kind of gun is that

  • i thank its a berrett m468(Rec 7)....correct me if im wrong

  • it does look like the rec7

  • Probably just an M4/AR-15 with the SIRS RIS system, which the M468 uses. Either is possible, but Magpul would need a new follower for the 6-8.

  • ya its not a m468 the front sights on the m468 fold this is fixed

  • what grip is that,,,,and i thank that the upper receiver is a dpms a3 flattop(stripped).

  • so can anyone tel me the brand or model of the ar15......

  • what kind of rifle is that and can i order it online....

  • AR-15, and you can try, but they're very hard to find since Obama got inaugurated.

  • i know its an ar-15 i was talikin about a brand and model,,,,,,i dont think that that will pass,,,caus the first ban had an experation date and thats why it was passed,,,obamas doesnt,,,and the congress wont let "our right to bear arms infringed" I belive the gun stores are just taking advantage of these people who are gunna pay 3 times the price for an otherwise cheap rifle or high cap. magazine.

  • I paid $900 for mine 2 weeks ago. That's normal price.

The ban will be passed, trust me. Dem president and a Demo congress. It's getting passed.

  • I'm not going to say it WON'T happen but Im not going to say its going to.

The government has bigger fish to fry right now..

That being said I bought myself a mini-14 and a bunch of 30 rounders just in case.

  • Obvious underage B@

  • I'm not saying P-mags aren't the most durable mags available, but does a magazine really NEED to be able to survive getting run over by a truck?

    Think about it.

  • Yes.

  • I would hope they would have more than one Pmag. Unless they are uber gerhtarded they would have at least 5.

  • You wouldn't say that if you life depends on your magazine working

  • Oh ahahahaha, that's so funny, implying that I'm some range ninja, I literally laughed out loud when I read that, bravo good sir.

It's a bit of an inside joke I suppose, but still, thanks for the laugh.

  • humm.... break in video at 2:30.

  • its still the same mag

  • Comment removed

  • Cheaper than dirt is never the place to go for components and accessories. Chest rigs and other shit? Sure. But their prices are a bit high for everything else.

PMags are usually $18 or less. As low as $14 at a few shops and shows I've been to.

  • Comment removed

  • I just bought 5 of them for $16.50 each. Look around. There are a lot of shops that don't gouge.

  • I just bought 6 for 14.07 a piece.

  • i bought 3 with windows for 15$ a pice like 3 weeks ago

  • Comment removed

  • they're real mags for AR15 style rifles

  • Real mags.

Airsoft mags would get destroyed. They're all plastic, lol.

  • only REALLY cheap chinese copies of airsoft magazines are made from plastic

  • not the airsoft PMAGs :D

  • I have to echo the others here that like the Magpul. I bought two today and they seem to be extremely well made and look good to boot. Ill know how well they function tomorrow.

  • rob1516. The test was to show strength of design. Don't know why it's so hard for you to understand that.

And you know what's REALLY annoying?

    Haters.

  • No, but don't forget military vehicles (such as humvee's) weigh a lot more than a chevy truck. Check PMAG TEST, it shows a military truck crushing mags like nothing.

  • i got 2 pmag, plus 793 rounds of 223, a sim for a .40 glock, a 3poiint sling, and 153 rounds of .40 all for 20 dollars

  • I have a shipment of Magpul Pmags 30 rounders arriving toward the end of February (large order). I am taking pre orders, NO deposit required. Payment will not be required till I have the product and I ship it to you.Credit cards are accepted. Just need quantity of mags wanted, name, phone #, and/or email address and its a first come first serve pre order list. $40 per mag, $5 for shipping.Large purchase discount may be available.tutman2006@gmail.comTuttle Security Services L.L.C.248-361-0024

  • $40!?!?! They sell for $15 when they are in stock and everyone will start receiving orders by February. That's quite a markup. Do you call that the Obama tax?

I just bought a few locally for $19 each. That's an acceptable price when supply is low.

  • supply and demand. sorry. gotta get them when you can. I can't find them anywhere! when azzhole obama gets his anti gun grabbers in thw white house these babys will be Banned. that means the prices goes up triple or more. will kinda be like unique

  • Nobody makes an AR 15 mag' better than Magpul. The obvious implication of these tests is that nobody can abuse enough to damage, during normal or extreme usage. I am sure if you shot it with a .223 it would blow up; nobody said it was indestructible. It is just that baddest Ar magazine at any price. The price is 14.95, by the way. H&K's bad boy is 60.00

    Make sense now?

  • Ok, now lets see how they hold up to a real truck, Bring on the Super Duty haha

  • Good test if you are looking for a wheel chock, would rather see functioning testing, as I tend to use magazine for shooting, not speed bumps.

  • Please see our youtube channel for extensive live fire videos with the PMags including some through a M249 SAW

  • im still searchin where to buy pmag...not even magpul has it...funny :P

  • lol

  • I am a big P-Mag fan. I had the early run that had some dimensional issues with the tubes. Magpul replaced the tubes free of charge. Now they run flawlessly. These mags are also really easy to take apart for cleaning. This really is a superior product at a very nice price point.

  • GL with that rofl

  • And this is why I replaced all of my USGI mags with Magpuls.

  • What else can be said?

  • Awesome. Pure awesomeness.

  • lol

  • I was always leary when it came to polymer mags. I think it was the cheap ones I had for my Browning Buckmark when I was 13 that scarred me. I picked up a couple and now thats all I buy.

  • I have a bunch of USGI mags and like them but I just ordered 5 p mags to try. I am going to sip the pmag cool-aid.

  • Sold.

  • I just got my mags in the mail and I wanted to test a PMAG to see why everyone loved them so much, I am now a PMAG lover.. the feel is much better then USGI mags and they will take a whole lot more then any other mag out there.. I have a few USGI mags with magpul falowers and magpuls that I will keep for backups but I will order some more PMAGS and magpuls for them.. I really cant tell you how good they are, you must use one for yourself.. I cant believe I waited so long..
